Hey guys, in this video. We are going to show you how easy it is. To clear your check engine light and erase the codes on your newer. Chevy or gmc vehicles that come equipped with a push button start. Sometimes, the vehicle is not going to want to clear the codes. Because the engine is running and you will need to access the Ignition mode or accessory mode in order for you to clear the codes. And you can easily do that by pressing the push. Start button for at least 5 to 10 seconds. Once the button has been pressed, the vehicle will beep, and it will access the Ignition note as soon as possible. Then, you will be able to clear the codes with your scanner. Keep in mind that you will need an OBD2 scanner to clear the codes on this car.
