Good advice. I escaped my country in 1984. No internet, hardly any info available. Just left all behind and started fresh with $95.00 US. Money is a good bid but it is far from everything. I couldn’t speak the language, Xmas in summer, cars driving on opposite side of the road. When you’re 30 you can do anything. There’s no scare just challenge. And the outcome? Second language with a second culture. Can recommend to all young people. IT’s educational and definitely refreshing.
@tombrand0372 in the last almost 4 decades I found only two people interested of my story but quite a lot of people saying how dare me to do it. It’s easy to find a reason not to but the challenge is to find the way although you’re an American. I learned that if I show respect to other people/culture/ country by behaving accordingly then the chance to have any problem is slim. I can’t bring my own 💩 with me. I have to try to learn a few words and sentences in the language. People appreciate your effort. Anyway what do I know. I’m just a former refugee without college degrees.
@tombrand0372 thanks. About two years ago one RU-vidr asked me for a interview in my native language. I agreed. The interest wasn’t nowhere near I would accept as successful. I’m ok speak in English although still with a quite strong Eastern European accent. I’m convinced that just the accent would make people tired of listening me. Although there’s more people who immigrated in their young age and they speak a good English who could talk about it in much more acceptable level.
Andrew, thank you for your awesome advice! Although, we (wifey and I) are not 'eight-figures entrepeneurs' but just a retired couple trying to keep afloat in the U.S., we heeded your warnings and obtained 'permanent residency' in Panama under their pensionado visa program as our Plan B. (Currently working on Plan C - Paraguay). God bless you and keep you safe. PS. As a response to 'hate trolls' trying to rain on our parade. Please note that both wifey and I took Spanish in college so a refresher course in Spanish allowed us to function in Panama without any difficulty. Also note that both Panama and Paraguay have ingrained in their culture respect to elders and to Judeo-Christian values so being Catholic is not a requirement to thrive in either country.
I have to thank Andrew and his channel. Started to listen in 2019 and by 2021 I had an established foreign residence. Since I used to work as a relocation consultant for small and medium size businesses I did most of the legwork on my own.

In all honesty, I can only think of only one country in the world that has withstood the cultural and jurisdictional test of time: Switzerland. But I’ve been wrong before.
BUT, Switzerland had laws up untill recently that if your foreigner, its a bit harder to become a property owner there. Unless... well you trust someone that much that youd let him own a house there for you for ex. I cannot verify for 2022 but that way they protected themselves from foreign workers buying up all the homes there. Thats why germany is germany bc they need fresh workforce in order to stay afloat in pension terms like most european countries. They literaly rely on dumb money to keep the system going. Theres a good reason europe is importing so much workforce, yet nobody dares to speak about it. Europe has almost more people in retirement that working folks. That means red numbers go up monthly because not enough people working means not enough retirement money coming in. Houston do we have a problem??

Running away never solves anything. You have to get control of your "leaders" or they will try to control you. It's the same everywhere. Tame them and make them work for your best interests (as a community, not as an individual).
The Founders of the US were very clear that sometimes force is required. Looking at many career politicians and entrenched financial interests in the West it's clear that if people were not so stupid to see they are being made slaves with 'bread and circuses' as the Romans would put it, they would take up whatever arms they could and storm the government and central banks and hang every politician as a warning to future generations. Instead, they happily sit in front of screens, or 'travel' or consume and slowly die out. They don't even breed enough to replace themselves, and the embrace the manufactured individualism that keeps them weak and ineffective and claims it's a strength. Perhaps they deserve to go the way of breeds before them or did nothing. At least others died on their feet, not in retirement homes abused by imported workers they have paid.

Social security is an entitlement, because: 1. The government is not required to pay out social security benefits. 2. The government has already robbed the social security "trust fund" and substituted treasury bonds, bills, and notes. 3. The social security "contribution" was nothing more than a mandatory tax, and therefore not a retirement account of any kind.
