I've watched and looked at a bunch of tutorials on this, but the way you're the first person I've seen lift up the rings and put them on top of the others at 2:00 and that cleared up a ton of confusion. Thanks!
Wow, the making of the chainmail is incredible. I think most people would have just painted the design on. I can see you loved the game as much as I did. Long live Geralt of Rivia!!!
If you wind up two wires to begin with side by side, you dont have to open them befor you put them together. Saves you lots of time. Great work by the way. Love it.
Muchas gracias :D
Eres increíble, mis respetos para tu mente creativa. Gracias por mostrarnos a muchos cómo hacer y realizar algunas o varias cosas. Saludos desde México
Trying to do Geralt as my first ever cosplay! This vid has been so detailed, so well described its actually made me feel like i can really pull it off! THANKS a ton!! :D

Could not understand a word you said and the subtitles went too fast but I learned a lot. Especially the leather texture trick! That one thing blew my mind! Well done.
i watch this video... i don't know... maybe once a month, it's very detailed, the chainmail work is really good and that fake leather foam is very accurate, i'm definitely going to try some of this on my new original cosplay
Beautifully done! I have been researching different approaches to making a Geralt costume, albeit a different armor style than his signature Viper armor, but one of the other Witcher school armors, perhaps the school of the Bear or the Feline. This video alone has opened up my eyes to other approaches but the DIY mindset I usually have is to sew it, given I have access to a nice machine and the materials to do it, however I am worried about my body temperature in such a real replica and part of me thinks that wearing the foam may not only be more comfortable but more realistic for long days at an Exposition hall. I am looking into more now on other techniques. I would like to have it done by August but I think that may by unrealistic for my first cosplay project even though I'm an avid DIY fan. Thanks, keep up the good videos!
I'd be lying if I said I understood what you were saying but from what I can see the detail, care and overall design is absolutely fascinating. I'm going to Insomnia (Gaming event) as Geralt in August and this definitely gave some visual pointers. Thanks, keep doing what you're doing :)
+Keevanski I'm subscribed to your channel and it really inspires me to do more stuff ! I just wonder, that blumeplast/ vinyl latex, I have looked for it but cant find anything that resembles that in my country. What is it primarily used for and in what type of store did you get it? Is it like plasti-dip or just like regular latex? Any way, really awesome channel!
this foam to leather thing you do is MAGIC! it's totally purrrfect! I now think about doing this for ciris sword holder thingy caus I don't own red faux leather
Finished my costume in like 2 days! Pro tip: if you want a faster but less realistic look for the chainmail, just use shelf liner, but I recommend using proper chainmail, as it looks way better.
Keevanski Any time! When I was trickortreating in this costume, a woman asked who I was being, and I replied "LeBron James" and she said "Larahn jae? you did a great job. Extra candy for you." LMAO I WAS DYING
thanks for the chain mail guide its perfect. also a suggestion for leather, I use old sofas I bought and old brown leather sofa for £5, cut off all the leather and took the rest to the dump. if you are lucky you might get one for free if you volunteer to dump it for them.
