Usually first level recruiters, HR partners, recruitment consultants who put job ads out will not know answers to those questions. It is kind of useless to ask those questions to them. Just need to pass their screening.

I seriously can’t stand how fake interviews are. I wish we could just speak frankly and stop focusing so much on image management…

Interviews are _not_ a social encounters. You need to kiss the behind of the interviewer and be as fake as possible without appearing fake. That's the way it works, that's the way job hunting has always worked.
