I'm learning a lot, and there is a surprising lack of such practical knowledge on RU-vid. ….I've bought a few to later find that either the crank or the pedal are bent off the axis in which they should be travelling. You can feel it when pedaling. It's often a bit of head-scratch to figure whether the problem is in the pedal, the crank arm, or both.
Why would 3rd gear be described as 1st, and 1st gear described as 3rd? Must be some sort of vintage Raleigh convention that I've not encountered before.
