Nah. Since you’re on headphones mode, plugging in your actual headphones will still produce sound. Anyways i used the first method and it finally worked but it took sometime so i started doubting it.
gang_man9000 well that's good for you. I'm talking about the people like me who couldn't hear what he was saying because of phones were in headphone mode :/
Y’ALL!!! This worked for me: use a Q-TIP, if you think the head phone thingy is clean, its not. Keep pushing the q-tip in and don’t be scared to break your phone. Keep pushing! It will work, use your tongue to make the top of the q-tip a bit wet
guys, idk if it can help but I tried everything in this video but it still didn't work.. I desperately tried to use every single music on my phone but, *when I held the "play" symbol for a long time, on the shortcut of my phone (there were no music playing before, like a blank grey box) and it just made a music from my playlist play out randomly aloud !!* After this moment, the phone immediately switched from Headphones to Volume !!
Do you know how to make the speaker work on a phone call? I have to keep it to my Ear at all times. So I cannot hear anything if I have to set it down....this is Phone Speaker Not the media. Very inconvenient? Makes no sence. Works for news but Not a phone call.........HELP HELP HELP
Same here, but I didn't turn on airplane mode. Although, I've tried all three methods provided with the video and I was pleasantly surprised that it made sound with the third option, so i knew that my speakers weren't damaged (mine fell into a toilet :^) ). So I tried to reset to factory settings and it didn't work, but as soon as I restored backup information, played with the volume buttons, it showed up as "volume". Hope it helps for others with the same problem.
Eliana Rodriguez Okay if these 3 options don’t work, try connecting your iPhone to a Bluetooth speaker and play with the volume buttons on your phone while listening to music, then slide up in your control center and click where it says the audio devices while the music is playing.. switch from the “Bluetooth speaker” to “iPhone” your music should start playing on your iPhone speaker without headphone mode enabled.

If the video didn't help, if you have a bluetooth speaker, connect your phone to it then play a song for about 15 seconds then disconnect bluetooth on your phone, and it works again! Or you can call someone on the phone, put it on speaker then hang up, that works too! THUMBS UP SO PEOPLE CAN SEE!
Dude me too I that I broke the volume because every time I unplug the headphone. I unplug the headphone really hard. Oh no it does not work MOMmY GOVE ME Q CIP
Everything tried but nothing happened. i gave up. i kept my phone charging and went out. came 5mins later and everything was normal! my phone was back to iPhone mode again!!!

i opened the control center n just fucked with volume bar going up n down hella fast n it worked in like 1.35 seconds. nothing else helped. LIKE DIS SHIT SO OTHER PEOPLE CAN SEE IM A GENIUS
drew lopzzz this is the only thing that worked. I almost said fuck it and was going to smash my phone on the wall out of frustration. You saved my phone!
Nothing worked, tried everything. I spent 4 hours, was ready to throw my phone and finally a miracle happened. 1. Call someone on loud speaker 2. Go into spotify/ any music player 3. Play with your volume buttons, you should hear the music and be on call at the same time 5. Play with the buttons for a minute 6. Hang up on the person 7. Go back into spotify/music player and play with the buttons (mine went to headphone mode but then went back to normal) hope this helps :)
KIND ATTN; I tried the 3rd method . After rebooting the phone -settings - sounds and try changing the ring tones and it did sounded from speaker. But I went back to RU-vid it was showing HEADPHONE MODE BUT. When I changed the video it popped out of head phone mode. So after trying with changing ring tones if did not work then close the RU-vid app and reopen or change the video Changing the video worked . THANKS
GUYS!!!! THIS HAS BEEN MY SOLUTION!!: Clean the plug hole LOTS AND LOTS OF TIMES! Use the cotton thing like he shows us, but my advice is to moisten one part with your tongue (not that much, it shouldn’t be wet, just a little moist) and use it first. Push it as far as you can go, and rotate it several times. If you’ve never done it before and your iPhone isn’t new, it MUST be dirty. After you use the moist part, use the other part as well. Repeat it until you see dirt. If it keeps coming out clean and white, you’re not done with it. Key is repeating!
What worked with me is that I 1) I called from a different phone 2) Put speaker mode On 3) Put speaker mode Off 4) Connected the headphones On 5) Connected headphones Off. This worked and I could here the sounds again without using headphones. Hope this helps somebody. Like this comment so people can see it!
Here some Tipps that helped me: I talked to my friend on phone on speaker mode Then I put my phone on airplane mode, I put my phone on the charger then turned it off After 30 min I looked and it worked
my phone was stuck in headphones mode but it could work when you fill a bucket of rice and put your phone deep in the rice but turn it off and wait a couple hours it worked on mine!
Camille Doucet press play on a song and then pause it, then slide up to short cuts and press on the music one. Then hold they play button for about 5 seconds then let go and music should play
I have the same problem. It is because when you are listening on you headphones and someone calls you, the ringtone will still be heard trough the phone’s microphone but youtube obviously isn’t going to be heard trough the mic if you have your headphones plugged in (sorry for the bad english)
If this does not work get wireless headphones connect it to Bluetooth and put the volume up and down and the headphones will be off the disconnect it from Bluetooth and then the headphone mode will be turned off

ahmmad syafiq just put in rice , i hv done mine too. about 30 minutes or maybe less than that and after that i check it it works again.thank God , i dont have to waste my money around 100 just to replace
Odd pianist mine did work this morning now it doesn’t ugh 😑 struggles I clean them like that when I put my headphones on now I can’t heard nothing but my iPad works 9-27-19
I panicked 🤣 but it was dirt🤣 i turn off the phone then got a pin like a thin and sharp one then got dirt built up out. The qtip just pushed it inside 🤣 when i turn it back on it workks ❤️
My phone’s back to normal yayyy. I restarted my phone a bunch of times, having it on airplane mode for hours, cleaned the headphone jack with the thinnest paintbrush I have (bc I can’t find a bic pen) and played with the volume. Not exactly in that order but, pray to the gods or deities that you have😅
Omg! It actually worked! I literally sticked a Q-tip inside the jack and then somehow the sound came back, I think I might have pushed it hard and then it must’ve pressed a button in order for it to work. Thank you my dude! :)
I have my headphone mode on my other how ? Even tho i don't have an headphone ! The water get inside my phone and switch it to headphones mode **sad life**
