Did anyone else feel like their iOS was broken and u were sad because u didn’t know to fix it and just went to do something else and felt like crying. I KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY ONE
Weird thing is I was having this problem and I searched for this video on my phone without realizing that that was dumb because I wouldn’t be able to hear it, but upon clicking it started to work 👍
One minute I was watching this video with headphones, the next I wasn’t. You saved me so much money. I used your paper clip trick and the problem was solved instantly. I wish I found your video sooner, since I’d been dealing with this problem for several weeks.
For the people that can’t hear him, he said to completely turn off your phone twice to make sure it isn’t a software issue, if it u the same after this, get a paperclip or something like that( like a toothpick) and put it in the headphone socket and clear the dirt, and that should work. :)
I saw this in another comment, so sorry but I’m gonna spread it. It only fixed it for about one second, however other people said it fixed it completely: Have someone call you Put it on speaker Plug in headphones Take out headphones Try it a couple times. In the end, I dried it out and cleaned it out as much as possible and then went to bed as usual, and in the morning it was fixed 😁😁
read from a thread from Apple Discussion and a solution that worked for many people on that thread. Here it is: 1) have someone call you, 2) turn on to speaker mode, 3) turn off the speaker, 4) plug in your headphone, 5) un-plug headphone. This should work! (Actually, I had to do this couple of times before it finally worked for me. So don't give up if it doesn't work the first time). Good luck! \
Thank you so much you fixed my phone I thought I would have to wear headphones every day of my life even to watch one video keep doing what your doing and I really appreciate it
Omg thank you so much!!! I was so frustrated over this. Tried a few other things. Just tried the paper clip. Took about a minute of gently moving it around in there and it came back!!!! Truly appreciate this video
I’m wearing my headphones to listen because my volume won’t work without my headphones🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ update: I just pulled a piece of old lent out of my phone. Another update: my phone volume is back☺️ THANK YOUU
i had my phone in my pocket, and it fell out. it stayed on the floor of the parking lot for 50 minutes straight, but the thing is, it was pouring rain. My ringer works and calls work, just not the actual sound lmao. what’s your guys story??
Well it’s snowing outside and I did videos of it and my phone fell on the Snow and boom now it’s saying that I have headphones on but I don’t even have any lmao
Use a dry toothbrush on your headphone jack & charging port. Keep doing this for 5 to 10 minutes. I dropped mine in the snow and had no hopes left cause I’ve tried every single methods on youtube. Now it works just fine. You’re welcome 🤪😉
Kayla Yasmine I literally tried everything including what the vid said and it didn’t works, then I see this comment, try it, and it works!! Thank you so friggin much!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I’ve searched EVERY tutorial and only yours worked. I thought I had to get a new ipad. Thank God I don’t have to use my earphones anymore.😊
I tried both methods and it didn’t work, I dropped mine in the sink when the water was on on accident and it works fine except for the fact that it shows the headphone thing. When I call someone and put it on speaker, I can hear but never when I do anything else? Any thoughts?
so basically if u still use this put something in the hole where the headphones would go and try get any dirt out of it ps this worked for me so thank youuuuu!!
I have an iPhone 6 and I tried everything like the bic pen trick, the compressed air, hairdryer, updating my phone, restarting my phone and this video REALLY REALLY helped I tried the one with the paper clips and it works!!!!
I cleaned my headphones hole smthin with the headphones bottom (idk what’s called) then I blew in the headphone hole and now it works I can listen w my iPhone, thank u so much for the vid ❤️🙏🏻I restarted it 2 times first like shut down and I kept plugging in and out the headphone bottom plug before doing what I did earlier ( I hope this helps u )
Thank you so much! If it didn’t work, get a small flashlight and look inside of the headphone jack. For me it was extremely dirty inside of it so I just really needed to scrape the sides of it so make sure you can see where the dirt is.
If your headphones is for the charger port and your phone is stuck on headphones then just charge your phone and go to RU-vid. It will give sound without a headphone! Your welcome guys! But if this does not work, then I am really sorry. But this worked for me!
Yo i used the paper clip stuff and now my volume works, I found dirts inside. I usually don’t believe this type of thing but for the first time in my life, something like this works for me. Thank you man! 😁😁😁
I used a small drill piece to get a load of dirt out of the headphone jack as this forces the dirt/whatever is down there to come to the top! Rather than push it in further! Make sure you twist it gently though and don’t apply too much pressure ... hope this helps
okay guys it really works ! i didn’t even use a paper clip , i just used a bobby pin from my hair and also if you can’t hear him the words are in the description
The same thing applies for the lighting connector. You would be surprised how much dirt, you could find in your ports. Thankfully some of the cases made for iPhones have a little "plug" that you put in the port. That way no dirt can go inside, and will not get scratched up.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I was told never to stick a paperclip in the speaker holes, so never thought it’d be safe to do so for the headphone jack. It was all lint! 👍
Oo man, i was so scared because it didnt work for me! I tried with a toothpick and wiggeld it around and It still was like “ You have your earpods in” and i was like NO IM NOT half crying and after 5 minutes i tried again AND GUESS WHAT? IT WORKED WOOOHOO THANKS
Just watching this helped also go to settings in click on the sound , and just messed with it , or connect to a speaker and stay connected for a 1 min , also disconnect after , then clean your ear phone jack with a qtip , but take some cotton off of the cotton , then go back to messing with your sounds
Thank you so much for making this video cause idk how this happened for some reason even if I can’t hear I still be using captions but let’s fix this stupid headphone mode on this dumb ipad it’s the worst I could ask for
I fixed mine but not using a paper clip use a q tip if it doesn’t fit inside cut some of it off with scissors twist around in there and that worked for me
Thanks Bruv, just took a earwax stick damped it rolled it in my iphone headjack for 3 minutes and boom it says volume now and it sounds just the same before the problem!
I rolled a small piece of paper that is small enough to get inside the headphone jack and clean the area, I saw some dust come out and it worked. I also have a iPhone 6
In my case it didn’t work nothing turning it off or cleaning and nothing didn’t work but I got a small paper clip and I messed with it and found the clip that was stuck and gotta that was it made it work so 1st clean where headphones plug in then get paper clip and find the small clip inside headphones hole plugs mess with and keep checking the volume till it works do this after you turn off your phone and it won’t work then do what you saw in the video or do what I did n explain how to! Thank you good video n thanks again because you help me get my cell working again and God bless
