Well all you guys used it as of Oct 5 2021, and they said hey stop giving this away for free, charge 44 bucks. So they have.

To those who may be facing the same issue. In my case, using the merging partitions feature worked. You should delete the partitions and make the extra space unallocated though.

AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard Edition (free) worked for me.

On free edition: You need to first move the "blocking partition" to the end with Resize/Move and then when the unallocated space is next to the C drive, you can Resize it. Be sure to give the "blocking partition", which in my case was a Recovery Partition, the same amount of space as before moving.

Not sure if that's the case for others, but for me that happened because my hard drive was over 2tb big and got converted from GPT to MBR during cloning process, which only allows up to 2tb partitions (just answering for others looking this up, it's probably too late for you lol)

Firstly, thanks to Michael who made the video. I tried it with his method but like you Reibin, I also got the "Pay Up" notice. So I found a different method. Use Mini-Partition Wizard, you can re-size it for FREE with them!! Link: www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html It is a bit tricky so I will explain it in some steps: 0) Before anything do make an ISO/Backup boot, you don't want to be left bootless. This video shows one way to do it from 3:27-4:25 , or choose your own way, just do it. You were warned! Link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BZqkYnmDnas.html 1) Download the Program -> make sure to opt out of the survey and opt of of downloading the webapp/browser tool in the install 2) Run/Start the program 3) Select the "Disk & Partition Management" icon 4) Look at the disk you want to resize, now how to resize it looks easy at first until you try it and if there's other partitions between the ones you want to resize it won't let you. So you do this! 5) Right click on the partition you want to edit/resize 6) Now you DON'T select the "Move/Resize Partition" Option 7) You DO SELECT the "Extend Partition" Option 8) Then select the partition you want to "Take Free Space from:" 9) Drag the bar either all the way to the right or to as much free space you want to take from the selected partition. 10) Click "OK" on the bottom right 11) Now Close ALL OTHER programs EXCEPT the MiniParition Wizard 12) Now click "Apply" on the top left and the program itself will also remind you of step 11 mentioned above. 13) Let it run, it should work. Use the Windows+E button combo or open up Finder to make sure it worked. 14) Reboot your PC to make sure everything is fine at this point. 15) Now make sure to try out the new boot drive for a good couple of weeks and either leave the original boot drive or create a backup in case something goes wrong. 16) You're welcome!

Same thing here...I just found AOMEI Partition Assistant (search "unallocated space after cloning" and it should bring you to an article walking you through using the free version). Totally free, totally worked.

If you type computer management in search next to Start button, in the CM app you go to Disk Management, right click the drive you want to change oartions and boom. No software needed

this is the best option atm. get the last free edition and make sure to tick the option to fill up empty space. doing it in another step outside macrium is a hassle.

Until the author shows up to give you his answer the Short Answer is "No" do not delete those partitions.

It sounds like you're wanting to create a RAID 0 of the 2 drives, which you can do but it requires formatting both of them as the data in a RAID is striped across the drives instead of filling up one of them first. So you're going to have to do what you already started and backup the data from the old 2TB drive, boot off of a DVD/USB to format both the drives and set up the RAID, then use a program like Macrium to clone the backup drive to the newly created RAID, and then extend the size of the partition. @@MichaelMJD Oh my I'll give it a whirl. I'm going to have to get up to speed on creating a raid drive when the machine is booted from a USB drive. Don't know how to access software when that is the case. I'll do a little more research....thank you for pointing me in that direction. :)
