Patagonia is expensive even for foreigners, but don't worry, Buenos Aires is way cheaper. Also I recommend you to visit Cordoba, especially La Cumbresita, a German/Swiss town. Amazing videos.

No need to excuses yourself that much guys; it's okay! I did that trail in October; the best parts are the beginning, which has the best viewpoints, and the end, where the Bosque de Arrayanes is, so not too bad. The ferry ride is great though. I think that region is one of the most beautiful in the world, you really feel like you are in a special place.
