It is important that texture's name should be named by 8 symbols,more that symbols does not work

how to export complex human models (human alloy) of 1.50gb to fbx? I exported each human model to .fbx but its size increased until it became super heavy and I couldn't open it in the transmutr.

so i built a street light in blender ( first project ) How do i export it, as groups ? so when i bring it in to element 3d i can do the texturing there. the pole then the posts then light.

just run this command in CMD (with quotes) regsvr32 "X:\3dsmax root folder\MaxThumbnailShellExt.dll" instead of X:\3dsmax root folder put the directory where is 3ds max installed

obj has nothing do do with vray, iray, etc. It contains the vertices position, the UVs. That's all. What you use later to render that obj is another story. Don't confuse a 3D mesh... with a rendering engine O.o

@@HanSolocambo It may be that he is referring to the mtl file exported with the obj. If I export an obj from 3dsmax that has a standard material applied on it, the texture paths are added in that mtl file. If I apply a V-Ray material on it though, those texture paths are not added in the mtl file.

Hi! I bought a car model from a website and it is only on .max file. When opening it in 3ds max materials look well, but when exporting to obj and importing to blender, materials get mixed and look red, green yellow and pink. How can this be fixed? Thanks!

I think you need convert to standard material
