Thanks man! I have logic and the mk2. It's hard to find time to figure things like this out plus I've never been very tech savvy. Content like this is so so helpful. Love the videos bro. Amazing job
very helpful, thanks J! I wish they had features to multi-select samples in the app so you can bulk export... by the way, any chance you can make a video on how to organize the sample library in the SP404 SD card? It's a pain in the ass for me to get everything organized properly xD
I'm not seeing the export icon when trying to drag a sample. I know I've seen it before so I'm confused as to what's happening. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Is there a way to import a drum loop from a DAW into the SP without having to make drum patterns on the SP itself? Im having a hard time drumming and find making drums on my DAW alot easier
Got a new follower! Sorry bit confused. If i have a pattern i did on the sp mkii can i export the audio stems (dunno kick, snare, hh) this way into my daw?
if u do what i do in the video you'll be fine. once you have the separated audio stems from the pattern, just export into the app then to your daw. unfortunately we can't just go straight to the daw until they make an update at the time of this response
unfortunately, the files created as steams must be truncated first (in the sp 404) to create perfect loops for the daw of your choice (they add silence to the files). I think this is a bug, please fix it roland.
@@anzbert_anzio Hi! Yeah, same Samplix here as on the audiobus forum 🙂Looks like we have some shared interests..! Hope you find some time to look at my suggested layout (ableton standard "in key, 4th"). I'm so used to this layout, can't play chords in any other layout anymore 🙂
I'll add a coment I made on a Nonjuror video on the same topic (for reference): A perfect 4 bar loop at 90 BPM (48kHz sample rate) has 512'000 samples. The SP 404 makes a 512'704 samples file (start: 278, end: 512'278). If you truncate it on the SP 404 it makes a perfect 512'000 sample file. So they add (in this example) 278 samples silence at the start of the loop and 426 samples silence at the end of the file. Important to know is that they add on both sides of the loop silence..
