Hey Casey, I love your tutorials! It's really helped me improve my content and video editing workflow. I still have a lot of difficulty with understanding masks and how to track them. Time to binge all your videos.
Casey, always a lifesaver. Thanks so much for doing what your doing! As I have had render issues and crashes with different settings watching a variety of your tutorials has not only helped me to learn to solve these problems but has helped my workflow tremendously.
Thanks for getting straight to the point and covering all the bases needed to get someone completely new to the software up to speed; And in less time than most CC's dedicate to their intro's alone. Subscribed.
I just want to say thank you. I recently migrated away from Premiere with all the lagging and crashing issues to the free version of Davinci Resolve. Your videos have definitely helped me with the learning curve. Keep up the good work!
Hi I was thinking about buying adobe premiere, is the free version of davinci good enough for music videos or is it necessary to buy high quality, overpriced softwares? Thank you so much!
@@rojoratatatata4002 so far from what I've edited, I prefer Davinci over Premiere. Sure. Premiere has bells and whistles but I feel that this interface is more user friendly so far when it comes to editing both audio and video
This is the only video I found that tells you what to do AFTER the rendering is complete instead of cutting off the video as soon as it gets to the part where you actually share it. THANK YOU
Casey! You are awesome! I'm a film student and my son and I have started a RU-vid channel for fun. Your tutorials have been super valuable and I'm proud to say that I have achieved the status of Noob 2.0. Which means nothing. Keep being you because you are rad!
Thank you so much! Other people were saying weird things, and I honestly don't know what I wouldn't have done if I hadn't seen this video. Respect to you, my man, respect.
Yea! videos like this deserve to be seen millions of times, because you show us what to do in the first 1 minute, and im sure alot of people who watch this are here cus they could’t figure out how to export the video itself and you just show it to the viewers without needing to watch the entire video. it pisses me off when you search for a quick solution on youtube and there is a 20 minute video, and he never fully mensions it or if he does it would be at minute 14:27 for example so you gotta waste your energy to keep listening to him untill he reaches the point where the video is titled for. hope your channed grows very fast, i subscribed
Thanks for making this video. I just got back into it and when I went up export, it wasn't working until I found this channel. Much, much thanks. Cheers, Ivy.
Thanks a lot! I am from Germany and using this programm to edit a video for school. Its very complicated so its very nice to find these videos, where people explain exactly what you need!
"The main difference between these two container formats is that MOV is a proprietary Apple file format for QuickTime, while MP4 is an international standard. Most streaming platforms recommend the use of MP4 files instead of MOV, since MP4 files work with more streaming protocols." "When considering whether MP4 or MOV is better, you should think about the specific use you have in mind. Both container files, MOV and MP4, use MPEG-4 compression. MOV generally has better quality due to the fact that they have not been compressed as heavily. Purely judging based on file quality, MOV is often better, but not always. MP4 is more widely used, and it is also usually more efficient when it comes to file size. This means that you can use MP4 files for streaming, uploading, and downloading. When speed is a consideration, smaller MP4 files might be a better option."
@@firesurfer Yes, use .mov for higher quality AUDIO, if desired, as it can export .wav audio instead of the 192k .mp3/.aac limitation of .mp4. Otherwise, MP4.
Thank you Casey! It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. And now... time for me to make some coffee! If you would register to the Buy Me a Coffee thing I totally would buy you one. Cheers from Switzerland!
tysm for the tutorials :) I've never used an editing app as complicated as resolve and without tutorials I don't think I would have figured any of this out
your video does look better than majority of other youtube videos, your video doesnt have that dark video problem which is what i have for some dumb reasons, never had it when i used Lightworks
Thank you so much!! I have spent hours over the last couple days trying to figure out this very simple process - it's just not intuitive. Your video was so easy to follow - Thanks!
I was watching this wearing headphones, when I heard the Chicken I thought it was one of our Chickens we keep had come into the house :D Great videos Mr. Faris, thank you.
I have a question. I have an record, which has 160 fps and 100000 kb/s. But i can't render my video in 160 or just 60 fps. Everything that i can select is 24 or 30 fps. That's not the quality i would like to have.
Fantastic content!! Can you do a video on render settings for Instagram and Facebook? The pixelation is Terrible in each. In 17 studio I know we can save render setting presets so looking to set those up with correct picture sizes/codec etc for IG and FB.
One tip and one question: on the deliver tab you can set dynamic filenames. If you enter "%" you get a menu to select a variable to insert in the filename. oddly the menu only shows a couple of options. If you start typing you get more matching the characters you typed. That's how I found you can have the Timeline name as (part of) the filename. This brings me to my question: Is there a way to add all timelines to the delivery queue instead of selecting each one waiting and then clicking add to delivery queue?
Fantastic video as always. You are my favorite Resolve Guru. I stabilized a time lapse sequence in After Effects and I want to keep the highest quality for editing in DaVinci Resolve. The tricky part is that everything is 8K. What codec would you recommend?
Hi. Thank u for interesting content. I have one question: has it any sense to render in other file format using different format that those used by camera, for example when I use dji osmo action which records clips film in mp4 x264 file ?
I just need to say your thumbnail is f*cking fantastic. It looks like you're kicking someone's a$$ while exporting your video and it made me LOL. It's perfect.
Hey Casey, I love your tutorials! Anyway is there any solution if I can not render my video as the command box appear (Failed as the current clip could bout be processed) Thanks!
Casey, I am a real estate photographer who is getting into videography as well, Love your videos, you have been a life saver !!!! I just got Davinci and your tutorials are AWESOME. question, any videos on noise reduction and sharpening in Davinci, Thanks a bunch
Thanks for your content. But hey, that chicken sound was amazing in headphones and sounded as if it was behind me to the left. Did you pan it there or was that a fluke?
Hi Casey, great video and channel. You halped me a lot! One question, i have 100Mbit 4K video ,but when i want to render it i choose MP4 ,4K bla bla restrict to 100Mbit but the outcome usually is less than 100, something like 80 or maybe sometimes 90 to 93. Why? thanks.
