At 00:13 my problem was answered. I'm working on a '50 Chevy pickup and someone installed the rack centered on the frame. It needs to be moved to the left about 1 1/8 inches. I have too much tie rod on the right and about 1/4 inch in the tie rod on the left. Wonderful. going back out to figure some more.

I just installed one of your racks on a 78 c10. I am running out of travel and have a crappy turning raidius. Will these extenders fix that?

No it won't, you need to look into swapping to rod end outer tie rods, bumpsteer kit etc. I had to also use a few other misc parts to allow my C10 to retain similar to stock travel with DA coilovers and extended ball joints

thanks. I finally got in touch with CPP and the particular rack I had bought only has 4.75" of travel. I orderd a flaming river with 6" of travel and that fixed the issue. Already had bumpsteer kit. @@HartsPerformance

Does the steering tie rods need to run parallel with the bottom swing arm on a early about a 1964 Mustang II front end? This has the single swing arm on the bottom and dual tubular swing arms up top. It's on a pro-street car I bought that has bad bump steer starting at around 20 mph if the road is a bit bumpy. If I feather the throttle very slow it will go fine on the freeway and not bump steer but the second, I hit the throttle hard it wants to pitch the car off the road very violently. Just driving it does not pull and goes straight so very frustrating need to get it figured out and use the car. Took the front coil-overs off and tires then ran the swing arms up and down by hand and the steering wheel went back and forth. Sorry I just finished watching your video and see my tie rods need to run parallel with the lower swing arm.

Do you mount the extends on only one side the driver's side as per your website?

That's a stupid question. I'm glad I will never get a ride in your car!
