Great tutorial👍 Thrivethemes really offers extensive customization options for its users. The abundant knowledgeable base for available for their customers to ease the learning curve is another thing I like about them.

I kind of left thrive because of all the options because I'd spend to much time on any isolated element. Now I learned css and spend to much time on other platforms to get isolated elements the way i want. lol. Now im back to thrive.

I'm on the side of having the ability to customize, but I agree that it's easy to spend too much time on this.

Great tutorial and review video. Like you, I'm an enthusiastic Thrive Suite subscriber. However, I'm wondering why you seem to recommend Podia and Thinkific over Thrive Apprentice? Personally, I think that the latest version of Apprentice is way superior to any current learning platform out there in the market. Finally, I appreciate this video review and I gave a thumbs-up in addition to subscribing to your channel.

Thanks for your comments! I can see why you wondered about this. I'm actually working on a video on Thrive Apprentice right now, and like you, I think highly of it (and other Thrive tools). So, I'm getting around to showcasing Apprentice, and plan to do videos on other Thrive tools, too. Overall, I aim to give useful guidance to anyone who wants to be a course creator or membership site owner. From the questions I get and what I've observed elsewhere, there are folks who want the ease of use and convenience of not having to worry about potential plugin conflicts, multiple moving parts, etc, and these folks naturally find the course platforms appealing. So I also cover those as well. But, if you want to be able to pick and choose the specific plugins and exactly what functionalities you want on your site, then yes WordPress (by way of plugins like Thrive's) allows you to implement just about anything you want on your site.

Thanks for the updates and instructions, Kevin. Very helpful. We have something to make Teachable and other course-building platforms better and would love to hear your feedback. Can I send the details to you via email, if so what email should I use?
