I have no clue how to go about extracting the maps. I know there is an animator who is working on porting the maps into blender. youtube.com/@TheGlitchyFox?si=ms8rTa2Ve_0dKeOa He has a discord server, you could ask around in there. I don’t have any maps.
Thanks so much for this. By any chance would you happen to know which files to extract for the ferryman? I'm doing the bone scaling thing but it doesnt seem to fix it nor does it have textures.
Not at my pc right now so I don’t have a name for the ferryman files, I’ll try to get back to you on that. As for the bone issue, it’s probably easier to just get the blender addon. I can link the free version (pirated) on discord, feel free to send me a request. Username is “b1rb.” With the period at the end.
Alright so the ferryman's texture is called "T_Ferryman" and there is a slightly different texture called "T_Ferryman1". The oar is "T-FerrymanOar" or "T-FerrymanOar1" There are multiple models, not sure which is the one you need to use so you should just try em till you find one that works. "Ferryman Preview Variant Variant" (yes thats what its called lol), "Ferryman2", "Ferryman2b", "Ferryman", "Ferryman_0", and "Ferryman_1". Animation names are as follows for the intro: Sitting SittingCoinCatch SittingCoinCatchEnd Falling2 Fighting animations : Idle Run Downslam Stinger Falling Uppercut Roll BackstepAttack KickCombo VaultSwing Vault OarCombo LightningBolt Hope this helps!
When I load folder it just puts a bunch of new windows of an error and no matter how many times i click ok it just puts more I tried on multiple games already
hey Huh man quick question what engine did hakita used to make models because me and a friend are trying to make a mod and we need to know what engine to use thanks
Other people make most of the models, it’s in the dev museum. As for the program used it doesn’t really matter since the models are low poly anyway. You could do it in Blender, zbrush, or maya. Blender is free.
You can find the texture and export it manually if needed. Here are the file names. To make it easier you can sort by 2d texture in asset studio. Default body texture = T_Gabriel2 default wings = T_Wings Enraged body = T_Gabriel_Red1 enraged wings = T_Wings_Red blue and yellow wings = T_WingsEcstasy act 1 swords = T_Gabriel_Sword act 2 swords = T_GabeSword_Blue and T_GabeSword_Gold act 2 sword sheath = T_GabeSheath act 2 sword sheath text = T_SpledorJustice
It’s a bit hard to explain without visuals. If you really want to learn how to do it yourself you’d be better off looking up tutorials so you can see what tabs are being used. If you only want to see Gabe’s animations, I made a video for that : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-diG41UkxjlE.htmlsi=FsqR4LfCn_40OQtW I also set up a blender file that has all of Gabe’s animations in it with the textures all set up properly. To view a specific animation you have to make the model visible and hide all the others using the eye icon on the right side of the screen : mega.nz/folder/rSoA3ACR#HCYPWEvmmopdO_nDBhDcog You can also see how the textures are set up here, if you want to extract any other models. Though if you want to render things from a specific angle, you need to set up the camera yourself.
i have a problem im trying to extract animation clips only but i cant exctract them i can only extract the raw data but im unsure what to do with it and i dont even know if the animation clips are .anim clips cuz i spesifically need a .anim
As far as I’m aware you cannot extract only the animation data. Maybe there’s a way to do it using Unity, but I have no experience with it. The only way I know how to do it is to have the animation baked into the model as shown in the video.
intresting ome thing i do have to say is to fix the textures do they need to be altered on blender and exported somehow ? as ive tried to fix them through unity because of it being blurred out and cant seem to find a way to fix them on unity.@@huh0069

If the texture isn’t being extracted along with the model you can just find it by sorting for 2D textures. Idk what the file is called specifically though. Also make sure you’re in the correct view mode in blender.
There is only 1 way which I tested and it does work but it’s fairly time consuming and requires a decent pc. Using AssetRipper you rip the whole game and then download the Unity engine to peak through the files. In unity you can view the animation controllers (I think that’s what they’re called) and it has a little chart with all the animation names for that model. Kind of difficult to explain through text. I didn’t know about this until a few weeks ago so that’s why I didn’t mention it in the vid.
I'm not too sure, I never had that issue. Are you sure the animation you picked belongs to the model youre trying to use? If yes, my only other suggestion would be to mess with the settings on the fbx import. On the menu that pops up when you are selecting the model, there are settings on the right side of the screen. Try combinations of the options under the "armature" settings. If that doesnt work then I suggest getting the addon. I can link the free version to you on discord or somethin, if you need it.
The free version is pirated and I don’t want to risk getting struck down by RU-vid by posting a direct link. Do you have discord? There is a server that has it.
Yeah that's the annoying part, you don't. Most of the animations aren't named in a way that you can tell what model it belongs to. You just have to take a guess and see if the one you picked works. Some are easy enough, like the animation of the ferryman grabbing a coin has coin in the name, but others aren't obvious. It's a lot of trial and error.
