How to Extract PS4 Pkg Files from your Installed Apps. 

Earlier today I wanted to copy my installed pkgs on version 9 firmware. I watched a tutorial on how to install pkgs using a computer by modded warfare. It really helped as I used File zila and ftp on my ps4 to copy the installed pkgs from my console. Your tutorials are really helpful 🙌🏼🔥

I just wanted to reach out to you xXModded_WarfareXx and give thanks. I used to be relevant and spent years back in the PS3 jailbreak coding scene years and years ago. You were one of the reasons I built faith in myself exploiting the Xbox 360 using a glitch chip years ago all because I wanted to code and develop on the Xbox as I did for the PS3! I retired, time moves on. The fact that you are still relevant in the development scene today makes me happy! You are one of the few peeps from beginner days that's progressed and and stayed current. question: i have installed apps copied from another ps4 that i owned that i do not have the license for can i still create fpkg files from thos pkg files that will work?

Hello. I want to question how to extract PKG game data in Windows? More clearly I want to extract game files. Specifically, i want to extract God Of War 3 Remastered Game files because i have buyed the game on PS4 and my console is not jailbreaked because i'm in a firmware higher to 9.0 I want this to extract game files and then extract the music files for listen like normal music. I searched in internet and i can't find anything.

@modded warfare Why on heart copyng from the user folder is locked on purpose by lapy on PS4-explorer? It Used to work back than, i remember copyng my fpkg on an external HDD flawlessly.

You didn't mention the method without FTP. If you get data corrupted & game disappear. Can just plug in external hard drive in PS4 selectors install location for game. In settings in storage Use PS4 Explorer app the games will install to external hard drive. And can just move them back to internal and it's back to normall. Or can plug external hard drive hard in another PS4 and move games to internal.

Can we use the PS4 Xplorer app to do the same thing, but to copy the files on the hard drive attached to the PS4, without using FTP or a computer?

i need help pls. so recently i bought a new ps4 because my old one broke down but i held into it and my old harddrive. when i got the new ps4 it had an old firmware so i checked if i can jailbreak it and i did with 9.00. i decided to keep the new hardware jailbroken and the old one just normal so i can do things normally on the ps4. after i jalbroke the new hardware i plugged the old one to play my old already existing games and later on i tried to plug my jailbroken hardware and start my ps4 but it put me into safe mode and said ,, cannot start the ps4... connect a usb storage that contains an update file for reinstallation for version 9.51 or later. you can download the update file for reinstallation from playstation site ,,. so now i cant start the jailbroken without updating it and i would lose the jailbreak and i wont be able to jailbreak again. is there any sulotion to starting the ps4 with the jailbroken harddrive without updating it?

On topic of the video, would there be any reason to use FTP instead of the HB App Store thing for ripping disc games? Off the video topic, so much FTP use reminds me of the 2001 xbox, and how around 2007-2010 I was FTP'ing Halo2 "homebrew" map packs with 50+ maps each onto the 8gb hdd... I used to wish that the 360 kids would learn about ftp because of how they always complain about Neighborhood being slow and USB needing a PC/Mac, but NOW I need to derust myself on FTP best practices so that I can do all my ps4 shit with my phone, which is one thing 360 noobs say isn't possible. (despite 360 veterans knowing how to)
