Agreed! Mine was Samsung Tab A but other videos didn't cut it - yours did. Mine had an extra part in between that showed "Updating System" then "No Connection" but after a few minutes it finally brought me to the Factory Reset page. Thank you!!

jeez, been dabbling on this tab a (t550) for a friend of mine, was a hand me down from her daughter, and the passcode didnt work anymore. NOONE said anything about the home button. went first into an Update screen, after a minute i was finally in. THANKS!
