Samsung Tab A ( SM-T555 ) Unlock Pattern Password | HARD RESET How To -- GSM GUIDE 

Life saver! Been trying to get into this tablet for a while! I accidentally entered "Odin Mode" at first, but was able to get out of it by pressing and holding the home, power, and volume down button. Thank you for taking the time to make this!

It worked perfectly.. Those who have the tablet in ON condition, try restart. Power off will ask pattern lock to do a power off.. So restart works..

Kevins instructions worked to the letter. the video is utter rubbish without comments. steps 1-5 worked as said but quicker. didn't have to wait so long for the screens to appear.. searched the web high and low. thanks Kevin. only thing to add. once you select factory reset/wipe, you have to wait for a few moments for the data to be wiped, this will be clarified at the bottom of the screen after which you have to manually reboot the device selecting "Reboot device" in the menu at the top of the screen.

Today morning suddenly pattern is not working for my sons tab, which he has been using to attend online classes and it was a panic how to reset it as it was keep on asking the pattern and the correct pattern didnt work. Your video helped. On first attempt itself it worked and it asked for pattern as well. This time the old pattern worked as well. Thank you

I have the Galaxy Tab A (2019) model. Bought from Best Buy from open box. It looks like it had a factory reset but when I went through setup it asked me for the previous account used to set up. I did another factory reset on my own but ran into the same issue. Don't have old pin, email, or phone used to do original set up. Any ideas?

mine did not come up with the robot it came up with warning like yours but then went straight to it saying downloading do not turn off target.. on the left corner of tablet i am going to write it the same way i am seeing it and see what you think .. in red letters it says ODIN MODE line 2 white letters PRODUCT NAME: SM-T550 3d line white letters CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official 4th line white letters SYSTEM STATUS: Official 5th line WARRANTY VOID: 0x0 6th line gray letters QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB) 8th line gray letters AP SWREV: S1, T1, H1, R1, P1 9th line blue letters SECURE DOWNLOAD : ENABLE do you know what this is and it has been on like that for 20 minutes or so.

Step one: REMOVE YOUR SD CARD from any device BEFORE you factory reset it!! Devices detect SD cards as memory/storage. So if a micro SD card is in a device when a factory reset is performed it may (and most likely will) wipe everything stored on the SD card as well. At the very least it might retain a couple photos/docs, but the reset will likely corrupt all the data/files on it which can prevent your device from being able to read the SD card properly, thus preventing you from retrieving anything and requires the SD card to be re-formatted. Which erases everything on the SD card anyway. So be aware, performing a hard/factory reset on a device "restores the device back to the manufacturer's default settings." Meaning everything that has changed since the device was first activated is erased. Gone. DO NOT factory reset your device if your primary concern is recovering photos or other irreplaceable files that were on the device prior to reset, you will be sadly disappointed. It's hard when you lose everything you have saved on a device, but not realizing your SD was in the device until after you reset it, is next level devastation.
