Super interesting. I wonder if you could find a way to put some type of firm pad between the iron and the film to push the vinyl deeper in the grain of the leather to increase the embossed look? Either way, super cool. Thanks for sharing!

Do a search on iron-on gold foil. That will look much more like real gilding.

How durable? I know leather is not something its suppose to be pressed on. Maybe since you arent going to wash it
