Couple small corrections woops, doubled a clip in there! Also i dunno why i said it wasnt the most efficient in one clip, the dirtbike method is the best method of farming so its obviously the most efficient Either way hope you dudes enjoy these farming methods, i did a big grind over the weekend, _its seriously profitable_ :D
Alright, I can do the ammo box square a lot more then: Put 4 boxes around you, use one once, then turn to the next, use that once again, and so on. Rinse and repeat until your brain starts melting, lol Thanks for bringing those methods to us all! HEDGE approved
I was struggling, at 1st, with the new ammo crafting dynamic; but I am doing alright now. I kind of see what they are trying to do here, but the jury is still out (for my part). Edit: It seems that crafting materials are easier to come by; the Lynx machines drop 1-2 Electrolyte (for example). I think that if the Devs had communicated more with the player base, and saught feedback prior to launch, this might have gone better. Having said that, the more I explore this, the more it makes sense...except for the ammo crafting; the ammo pack trick is good, but it doesn't fix the problem. Edit (again): Perhaps if they just fully committed to the "ammo pack" method for keeping yourself supplied with ammo, and made the "ammo crafting" part for just crafting experimental ammo...that may work.
to unlock all equipment really fast, craft simple med kits and other things and put all your points into the right hand tree untill you unlock sticky flares. make flares, then sticky flares, recyle. you actually get more resources from recycling a sticky flare than what goes into making it, so you can create an infinte amount and unlock everything after that.
That was my strat. I actually recycle simple and advance as the preferred medkit I use is the standard. Or unless you have the healing skill to max. 25 HP plus 60% that's 45-50 HP. Kinda a waste in using your skills since it's in the support tree. Survival, combat and technology are good. Support is good when you have friends. I'm solo. Also after dealing fnix and apocalypse. Flares hardly work. So I prefer stacking up on emps either their rockets or devices. When you have scavenger where you get 50% chance getting a component on robots. Just farm runners either proto or military. Out of 24 runners I got 9 out of them.
Use ammo packs to get Emp rockets dismantle said rockets to get electrolyte and copper then use electrolyte to make car batteries then make more ammo packs switch to Hedp rockets every now and again to make up the lost explosive from grenade making, the only downside is you lose plastic.
Yeah with the salvage skill upgraded under the tech tree you get double the ammo from machines and containers that's how I've survived with crafting being limited
@@Quint1975 I'd say explore everywhere the fake is very beautiful and full of cool things to see also full of enemies so make sure to have lots of ammo but not too much to weigh you down so you can bring back plenty of loot
Honestly, ammo is not much of a problem in the new update. Crafting ammo specifically is okay. Experimental ammo outstanding, of course. Medikits are where the problem lies!
Loving the openness of the game now for the reasons you say, and it’s a pure joy to start at one spot and instead of warping everywhere, ripping around and getting into / out of trouble. For future videos, maybe one on a tier list of ways to die on a dirtbike…with #1 being hitting a tick mine and instantly having the bike blow up from under you…
For me, farming firebirds is the best method, I don't get a bunch of .50 BMG each time, but every like 1 in 3-5 firebirds I get around 200-260 .50 BMG ammo and I usually get 200+ 9mm pistol, SMG, and 7.62 ammo in those 2-4 firebirds that don't give me .50 BMG
Hunt military class firebirds. They offer said amount of .50 cal, some 7.62(200-500) , 5.56(2k - 4k) for you. Spetsnaz give a lot of exlosive rounds and same loot as military, while the scout gives less 50 cal with maybe 2-8 explosive rounds but offer a lot of 5.56 and like 100 7.62
I've pretty much stopped playing Gen Zero with this latest update. I played the game with friends for the fun of it, I'm not grinding to then grind more different stuff. I hope they change some of the crafting ratios, I personally think it's been over nerfed. I think it deserved a nerf but I won't pretend to know what the best ratio is without crunching way more math to define and justify values. Great content as always Tenebris! keep it up
I don't really craft ammo since I find enough from looting usually and I already have a huge stock saved up, so I don't really need to do stuff like this, and I hardly use experimental ammo either, if it were only an ammo crafting nerf I wouldn't have much of an issue. But it _wasn't_ just an ammo crafting nerf, no, they destroyed any chances of having a shred of fun in this game when they reduced the medpack crafting by a factor of *TEN!* 🤬 I fired up GZ last night to have a relaxing night and ended up just about having a rage-induced aneurysm when I went to craft up a couple dozen advanced medpacks. Devs, I really hope you're reading these comments, you guys need to take a long hard look at our reactions to what you've done, we are *_NOT_* happy with you right now. Fix this or you will lose _so_ many loyal players who have stuck through the BS in the beginning, this is a gigantic clusterfuck that you've created. Why do you keep changing things nobody asked you to? How about you leave the stuff that works alone and fix stuff like the retarded RNG exp weapon duplicates (and more experimental weapons too!) or give us some more story content or something, you know, stuff we _asked_ for? As of right now I'm not going to touch GZ until I see that an update has come out to fix this BS. I'm not going to play this game if you just want to waste my time.
So at some point this year they nerfed the loot rate, apparently there is a 4 hour loot timer before it can be picked up again so no more infinite resources:(
Could be because I suddenly installed 3 weapons dlcs in a short period of time and confused the game. It seems to be spawning more again but still nowhere near as much as it did before I installed them
On skill, get yourseld an Salvage up to level 2 , go up north, and destroy any Soviet machine especially Spetsnaz class, those machine drop 100 rounds upper on 7.62 in any difficulty. Or, just dismantle any fmj rounds and convert it into 762 You only need 2000 rounds less as you kerp destory machine and loot, it get you more and more
@@TenebrisInfiniteis that really efficient? A half hour for 2 packs plus the time it takes to do all the prep work. Is it a half hour from the starter area with the burning boat? It’s gotta be faster to find 2 grenades and 2 car battery EMPs. Maybe not.
Are these even worth it? Ive tried to use them thinking they will have a decent amount of ammo..but they really dont. They allow 3 grabs, and each grab give 1 RPG round, or a couple mags of ammo? Am I doing it wrong?!??
So I don't know about anyone else but the drop rate for the new experimental weapons and the new weapons pack seems to be awful I've spent the week trying to get a new experimental and had no luck
Unfortunately this advice is out of date now. Items in game do not seem to respawn the way they used to. For example I have seen advice where fast travelling resets loot and this is no longer the case. Also moving between zones as advised here no longer resets loot. It appears that loot respawnint was patched. At least for me it now seems to respawn after a set amount of in game time has passed. That is in game time not real world time since I logged in after a day and recently collected items were still gone. It seems to take around 4 hours.
They need to re fix the crafting system. Wants way to many resources...for a single crafted item....it makes no sense and sucks the fun outta it. Especially if you don't have the time to always go on a not so fun grind. Would love to use the bikes but the fix they put out didn't fix those and my game still crashes..along with other crashes still have happen normally even tho this was supposed to fix this problems
Is anyone else having an issue on the xbox where it isn't letting you craft ammo boxes? I unlocked it. I have 8 Car Bats and 20 grenades, and I have the option to craft, but when pressing craft, nothing happens? Also, why do you need tungsten and gas to craft adrenaline? Seems I don't know a little toxic to put in your veins lol
The Game is worth nothing @all. After finishing all Quests it's kind of boring, running around for mobs. Add some new Questlines instead of stupid skins and weapons would be a goal
Yeah sorry i going to say no i stop playing this game. WHEN THEY NERF the crafting station so hard that i stop playing. so i start playing fishing game
Ammo packs cannot be infinitely crafted anyway. There is an invisible limit to it before the game just says "No" and locks you out for the day. Ditto with Adrenaline Shot crafting. I crafted 5 day one Dangerous Experiments dropped and the cooldown is STILL not up. Utter garbage. It is either glitched or the devs REALLY need to rebalance this cooldown...or at least SHOW ME WHAT THE COOLDOWN IS! That alone should be a given for all crafting if there's a limit be it time or craft.
I had the resources to craft the pack but didn work.🤬👎 Plus my game crashes 5 times a day. It seems that the game has got worse. But still enjoyable but equally as frustrating
