Intellect should give you more ult damage or the subclasses should react differently based off your intellect, i.e getting another shot in the solar gun or you can pick up the arc staff out of the ground or some shit like that
Yep a basic change of 100 Intellect providing you a 20% boost to your super damage would completely shake the Meta. I don't know why Bungie wont do things like that.
@@Treymanblok I mean we're 10 years into a game and theres only 5 enemy races one of which is just fallen but corrupted. the main 3 light abilities have 3 supers for each while all the new ones only have one class each and very limited options in melee and dodges. the only thing they seem to put any effort into expanding is the "micro" transaction shop
Yeah absolutely if you've been playing for seasons then 64 is the minimum I would take. But at the same time stats are extremely overrated in Destiny, so unless you are doing it for the min-maxing feel then I wouldn't even bother.
BUNGIE please make mobility the last stat to get any points. its so goddamn annoying getting 30+ armor with high mobility and shit stats in everything else.
I feel you bro, on my Warlock, Titan and even on Hunter sometimes I dismantle pretty much any piece with more than 2 Mobility. If you want to avoid Mobility at all cost then use the Resilience Armorer Ghost Mod, it should help you out.
@@smokeyislove469 all 4 vendors at the helm give high stat armor...i've focused 100's at all of them and i assure you it doesn't matter which one you use...whichever vendor is your 'go to' you can also wear it's armor set to watch your engram count skyrocket during any activities...unless you have artifice armor i'd go with this season's armor for all 4 pieces (minus your exotic obviously) p.s..switch to a full set of 5 deep armor if you fish! you'll reset that vendor in no time lol
Damn returned to the game, had 94 of those engrams, now have 50 forgot to focus, just tried Random stuff to dismantle, thanks for the reminder, let's see what those 50 get me
As a long time vet of the franchise I can say this: you only really need like 1-2 stats at 100, ultimately it’s your builds synergy and your understanding of the game that does the heavy lifting.
I've been coaching people for years and that's exactly what I always tell them. Gameplay, aim, reaction time, knowledge are far more important than any stats in the game. The only issue is that most of D2 community is very casual and they'll never be ''good'' per say at this game, so they need every single advantage that they can take.
@@Treymanblok which isnt a bad thing inherently but ultimately they shouldnt stress about getting triple 100s or anything, its up to them how much effort or time they want to put into it.
Thank you for this clearly explained video. I'm a casual solo player and it's tough to figure some things out and I don't feel comfortable running end game content. But thanks for the info.
If I'm a F2P player (for the most part, I own beyond light). I can't do the focusing armor right because I would need the season pass? I was confused because I looked at the wishful armor focusing seasonal challenge and I've received the wyrmguard head and chest pieces at some point. I'm missing the rest of the set though and I don't know how I got the head and chest.
I’m kinda new to destiny 2 and this video with so useful on understanding how to build I have the gear but my mods were all over the place.. now thanks too you I’ll be able to square away my mess and finally fit in with the destiny players lol it’s a bit disappointing getting kicked out of raids and dungeons before I’m even able to prove myself
I'm glad I could help! I tried to make it as simple to understand as possible. Also don't worry I got the same treatment on my brand new account even though I've soloed flawless pretty everything in the game, people are so quick to judge 😅
I really wish there was more direct ways to influence which stats get picked. Let me focus two different stats instead of just one, because I'm real sick of focusing discipline just to end up with zero resilience and a metric ton of mobility on a Warlock.
@@worgmaniashenanigans2702 boss room CP on master for Grasp is the easiest artifice farm and the stats for the artifice armor is the best you can farm for. Pit of heresy is good to but the stats won’t be as high as the armor from Grasp.
Because you can Farm 🚜 high stat Armour from the helm, I delete everything under 64. I now find myself routinely deleting 66-68 pieces! We need more vault space. Great vid!
I primarily used to run with a Hunter but had a Titan as a backup, but now I primarily run with my Titan. I do have a chest piece that is a 71 on my Hunter though I would never use it just because the stats weren’t where I would want them. I do have triple 100s on my Hunter. Now aiming for it on my titan. I am trying to get better stats in my Armantarium. So thanks for the tips.
Yeah i main Hunter and Titan because they are the most fun and aggressive classes, Strand Titan is absolutely broken right now. Armamentarium is also quite fun with the Arc Subclass with Pulse grenades ,you’ll be spamming so many nades!
This is a better tutorial video for beginners then 99% of videos out there. Like if all someone knew about destiny is this video they would understand loot and figure out the content as they explore.
Thats really nice to hear! I always try to aim for the highest quality while keeping the vids somewhat short so I hope this video was clear enough for everyone to understand.
@@Treymanblok absolutely. Most beginner guides use complex words and don’t explain why or what does what. This was explained great. If I was a beginner this would definitely help get into the game. Keep it up!
As a new player (Void Warlock 1765) i REGRET all the shards and cores ive dumped into armor all the time as i keep getting better ones and get lost what i should do afterwards, im grateful i got to see this guide today so when i login later im dismantling the hell out of the bad ones
I'm coming back to the game after two years. This really helps me efficiently farm armor until the final shape comes out. Thank you so much for the vid!😊
Ima be so fr with all of you. And it might of changed but. This video is still good. But to make it a lot simpler ( I haven’t played in over 8 months I just started playing again so tell me if it changed) all you have to do is keep re rolling specfic stat armor at the focused vendor. Ghost mod will help. It’s really not hard once u get the double 100’s triple becomes a little tricker but stil doing it the same way works. I HAVE HAD TRIPLE STATS since the game released. A YEAR AGO I got quadruple stats. Now regardless of anything I put in my gear I will have 100 discipline 109 recovery 101 resitalance And 100 intellect I WILL ADMIT MY MOVEMENT IS ONLY 18 WHICH IS KINDA SAD DOR A WARLOCK BUT U GET THE POINT LOL. Took me I think about 3 days of focusing to do it but like I said game might of changed. Was just tryna make it simpler
I run 100 mobility 100 int 5 res 7 recovery 2x kinetic targeting, 2x reload void invis helmet. I can jump higher. In trials. You need to dodge invis everytime you go critical. Sure helps me
Really nice guide, this is basically exactly what I did to get multiple triple 100 builds, mostly farming pit of heresy, with a solid team we were able to get triple 100s in about 2 days. For my third and final character, I was pretty much tired of pit of heresy, so I just ended up focusing armor at the war table for him. Very good for newer players, wish I had something like this when I started.
Been a min since a TMB video appeared in my feed. Good to see you back or good that the goofy YT algorithm decided you're back for me. Really well made video that I'll share in my own community. Cheers!
Bealieve it or not my friend, YOU just helped me out understand how armour picker's working after 4 or 5 years of playing D2.....! Yo, so many thanks's mate! I just sub/bed to you!!
@@Treymanblok Yeah..now i get it! Thanx bro! My issue btw is the language, it does matter on this game super much not like others, you may wonder what the heck am i saying...I'm just having a bit of difficultie on the language..so it was helpful!
Thanks for the concise stat breakdown. This will help me fill out my triple stats and hunt down those last few points I'm missing. Also those are some super sick pants on the hunter at 5:50! What's the ornament you're using?
@@Treymanblok Ah ok thank you! Dang I don't think I got that high on the pass for season 21, so I don't think I can get that ornament. Was a low season for me. Oh well. 🥲
Great Video. I was able to get few Builds with 3x T10 with that Ghost Informations. But i am struggle to get 100 Resi, 100 Recovery and 100 Strenght... Any Tips for the Ghost Mod i should prefer?
Honestly unless you are very desperate I wouldn’t go for quadruple 100s. You’ll end up sacrificing Fragments which is not worth it. But if you really want to then you would need godroll 68 armor pieces pretty much.
I got triple 100s on my warlock in about 5 hours. Probably could of got it faster but I worked my build around nezarecs sin, and I couldn't get a good drop on that to save my life lol
Anytime you get a new exotic engram, use the focusing tab at Master Rahool's station, to create an exotic armor piece of the desired type (you will need to unlock the type first, and have an exotic cipher in your inventory). You will notice that many youtubers always keep spare exotic engrams in the inventory just to refocus them into a desired armor piece.
The best stat building video I've seen. The breakdown and explanation for everything was perfect. Also, mentioning things 80% of other videos fail to mention
I have something like 50 witch’s engrams. I also have the bug that makes the ritual table inaccessible to me. Apparently the way to fix this is to delete my character and make a new one. I have had the same guy since d2 launch. I will not be doing that.
Let me ask you guys some quetions: i only have the witch queen dlc, how can i get high stat armor? Can i unlock and use the witch queen dlc table? If yes how?
At the same time I gave you two different options without needing to own the season. Also you can get Lightfall Normal Edition that comes with the season pass for 10$ online.
I subscribed 100% been trying to get x3 100s for the last year but haven’t been “focusing” on it I’m not a hoarder and I think that’s the issue, should I just be keeping everything above the minimum stat threshold and does the preferred stats go for every class? I usually try to run Res Rec Dis on everything even Hunter and Titan to be more specific since I play PVE/PVP I think it works well overall stat wise
Thank you! Exactly what you said, you should be keeping pretty much everything above 60 because you never know when you'll need a piece of armor! Unless the armor has absolutely terrible stats that you are not looking for, in PVEs case that's Mobility. Yes the preferred stats for PVE are Resilience, Recovery & Discipline for all 3 classes.
@@Treymanblok Thanks for the Response, guess I’ll have to fill up my vault now being it’s strictly exotic gear and weapons. I used D2AP for my first x2 100 now I have maybe 5 builds on my Hunter with decent stats
Just focus your armor at Riven, and the war table. Have your ghost set for Discipline, and you’ll be dropping more excellent stats than you can use. There is absolutely no reason to hoard them though. You have 3 months or so until the final shape drops, so plenty of time to custom focus armor.
Your explanation of how armor stats work is very helpful for a beginner, can you cover a similar topic but on weapons? what are good stats and attributes to look for when picking gear up please?
If you are a titan player, focus resilience. Recovery is not as useful on a titan, especially on solar, stasis, and void. Resilience, Discipline, and Intellect will benefit you greatly
This was very insightful and supremely helpful. I suppose it's called the "bucket system" cause you just have to dump a bunch of engrams into your inventory and sort through them for the best picks.
When you talk about stats you want to mention them in their non masterworked and non modded value. No one know what you are talking about when you say 75-80... Could be with a +10 mod, could be with a Masterwork, etc... Just mention the stats as they come with the armor AKA 60-68.
@@Treymanblok ok thank you gonna take a while to farm. Correct gear x.x going work on pve first thing that way easier to farm another for pvp gear drops.
they really dont. even though the class ability is tied to mobility, hunters class ability recharge is extremely fast and doesn't need a boost. especially if you have frostees
@@tht1soulI’m a hunter main and I used to not care about mobility, but I realized I couldn’t do like any jump puzzles without throwing on stompees. Without mobility the hunter jump is absolutely useless. Also the difference between tier 3 and tier 10 mobility when running a dodge focused build is insane.
This was a pretty nice video and explained some stuff well that I hadn’t really understood to well (e.g. how exactly the the ghost stat boost works), however one thing you neglected to mention is that this is a very PVE-focused video as some of the principles here aren’t applicable for PVP e.g. the usefulness of intellect and mobility depending on your build and skill.
Big huge tip: For Titan Marks, Hunter Cloaks, and Warlock Bonds, they all don't have any stats already one them, the reason is because that's an piece of clothing for the Guardian that is essentially where you more-or-less focus on the light level and if it's a really good light level for you, for example: Hunter Cloak with 1780 would be better than a Hunter Cloak with the level 1670, higher in power. You level it up to 4 Energy and can apply any type of mod socket in the general armor mod section so you could boost up a certain part of your stats for 5 or 10 points higher. You're welcome. :)
I will say, for SOME builds you can let recovery fall into a dump stat. This is MAINLY for builds that provide another source of healing. For example, i have a solar hunter build that uses a healing grenade and mods that provide other healing (such as heal on grenade damage along with the hunter's grenade charge and orb restoration) and have found i dont need the recovery in pve content. Usually i focus mobility since dodges give back melee on hunter already. Its not everyones cup of tea, but i think its not a bad idea to let recovery slip if youve got a build that picks up the slack.
That's kind of true, some builds don't make as much use of Recovery. However even in that case I would still always pick Recovery over Mobility, because with Ember of Singeing you get your entire dodge back in two knife throws or two scorches with weapons. Not to mention that with the Solar subclass you get your melee back on kills, so if played properly you should almost never have to dodge to get your melee back. But yeah I have a lot of builds where I sacrifice Recovery for extra mod space in my armor because like you said when you know how to manage your heals you don't really need Recovery as much.
I don’t have the season pass but I did buy the witch queen and beyond light. So I can’t focus with riven because I can’t rank up with her. Got any tips to where I should focus armor other than with riven?
If you are on PC go buy Lightfall online, you can get it for like 12$ and that will also unlock the current season for you. Without that you only have a few places left like Dares or Pit of Heresy.
Honestly I was recording this on my brand new account so I literally didn't have any armor unlocked but I'm glad you like it hahah! Unless you are talking about the armor from my main account, let me know which minute of the video did you see it in and I'll give you the info.
@@ProDragonist No it's just the armor. The Glow effects you see in the Thumbnail I added myself in Photoshop, the armor doesn't glow like that. Search up a youtube video about the armor and you'll be able to see how it looks.
That stat cap is false because I have a chest piece that is legend rarity that has 81 total stats. This is with discipline tier three but without it has 71.
