Hey man sorry that I couldn’t watch your stream I was busy but this video did help me a lot thank you for your hard work and effort and have a good day.
I recently started eidolon hunting. I do not understand why should i get 1 lure after every limb broken. I usually just do a 1 +2 and after i brake first limb i just grab 2 lures, that usually makes sure i end up with one charged lure ready for gauntalyst and after teralyst cap i just grab 3 lures and repeat for hydro
It optimizes the charge time for the lures and makes it so you don't have to waste extra time when you could be doing something else, like damaging the boss / activating the next one. This is basically what makes the difference between solo 4x3/5x3 and a solo 6x3. If you don't care as much for optimization, and are joining groups / are fine with only doing 2-4 solo cycles per night, you don't have to worry about this yet.
I knew most of this (at least in theory) but I simply can't keep lures alive. Terry is not a problem, but as soon as Gary starts his space beams lures keep dying. Those beams always spawn right under the lures and destroy them instantly. I could use Vazarin but then I don't have damage from Madurai.
@CEBEP-BOCTOK That is easier said than done. I simply don't have damage to one shot limbs (without void strike) Terry and Harry have those BS AoE attacks that always target the lures. Even when he is down Terry can summon space lasers and they always spawn under the lures. When that happens there is nothing I can do before they get destroyed. And Harry has that green vomit with lightning bolts that he uses as soon as I break the first limb.
@@GilbertGuilford Take your time if your unable to oneshot limbs or get a squad to farm with. Gaunto likes to tell you the beams are coming by placing a yellow aura on the floor thats pretty big so evac immediately if you see it. If you really want a good team get into a chat where everyone communicates what they're doing.
@GilbertGuilford Every Eidolon is the same once you learn how to optimise damage. With Rubico Prime and Eclipse subsumed, you can easily break limbs as long as Eclipse and Shield uptime is managed. Also, make sure to fully strip their armour with your gunblade of choice - it makes a HUGE difference. . Without VS is a bit tough, ideally you'd have Eternal Onslaught and never have to worry about VS cooldown again. My usual cycle for quick limb breaks: > Have shields and eclipse active > Activate speed boost > Switch to operator > Empty operator energy as the first leg drops in their recovery animation > Immediately shoot 2 alt fires of a 177 amp through Volt's shield followed by regular shots till shield breaks. > Hit Melee and break limbs with Rubico > The actual capture phase is what's most iffy cause of possible invulnerability if the kill is delayed by a few seconds- but I've recently compensated by using voidrig 4th ability spam. It takes out voms underneath and charges an extra lure for the next eidolon. . I know this is super late as a response, but it's for anyone else who stumbles onto this problem and finds this comment thread. Also I usually fly out of Eidolon range as soon as the sufficient number of lures are charged in their tantrum phase before they get up for a capture. Terry does a load of damage especially, and I'm not running any health/ armor mods lmao.
@@UpstageBeast I know all of that more or less but it doesn't help when I do that on Garry and then realize after the kill shot that he destroyed 2 of my lures in the meantime. I simply used Gargoyle's Call to buy all the Eidolon arcanes to R5 without RNG bullshit and now I don't have to deal with those 3 ever again. For me personaly, damage was never an issue. It was always Eidolon AI and their BS attacks destroying lures. And then I have to fly around looking for new ones and for Vomvs to charge them. At that point it is simply too slow and not worth it. If lures were invulnerable I would really enjoy Eidolon hunts, but in current state, they can go to hell.
At 7:09 how do you prevent multiple lures being charged? Like what if those vomvs go to the new lures and they split up? Then you have 1 or 2 half charged lures. Was it just lucky that you got all the vomvs in one lure?
It would be nice if you have a imgur link that shows where your loc-pics are. It’s really hard to pinpoint where you are in the map. Sure, there’s a minimap, but that takes some time to read and pinpoint based on your descriptions. EDIT: 1:38 - You can check here to get a general idea of where the Loc-Pins are.
So one thing I do see a lot, is when experienced players are fighting gaunt/hydro and they spawn at the far spawn, they're able to alt-fire the amp through the floor to kill the shields. I get how zenith goes through the floor, but how does the amp?
In my opinion, they use the propa. It can go through objects. So the propa's bubble(s) go(es) through the ground to reach the emerging eidolon to hit them sooner.
0:37 "The first marker is here" - Great, where? If only you could have show us your MAP.. useless. "between the trees" erm.... Proceeds to rapidly flick screen around.....
Do a lot of survival missions on planets where those resources drop IN STEEL PATH with an arranged squad (Khora with her Pilfering strangledome augment mod, Nekros with his Despoil augment mod, Nova in a speedva build and Wisp with high strength build). - Khora's mod is for double the loot enemies drop when are killed in her dome. Double the dome (use her 4th skill 2 times to get the most enemies stuck in cuz each dome has limitation to stuck those up) - Nekros can increase the loot even more with his ability (don't use his 4th ability cuz enemies would scatter around fighting with his shadows instead of coming to the dome for double loot) - Nova can either slow down or speed up enemies with her strength build. Make her strength goes minus to force enemies come to the camping location faster cuz we can kill them really fast. So yes, use her with max range and minus strength. - In Steel path, enemies can hit you REAL hard. So it's better to have a decent support like Wisp to survive better. Those acolytes appears, too. They can be tough to kill so it is best to have survivability when come to encounter them. Don't use her shock mote btw. It can make enemies stun while you want them to quickly come to the dome.
If ur in operator press e to switch to melee which is faster than transferring in then use the left mouse button to fire which immediately switches to ur primary and fires hope this helps :>
I came here for the loc-pin locations and this was basically useless, you're constantly whipping the camera around and have a cut in there all while showing the map for maybe one second collectively. If I could recognize parts of the map that quickly and easily I wouldn't really have any need to be here.
