This was so informative and so easily explained I have seen others struggle so much for this I am sharing this with my friends who are ignoring the DOUBLE D RING STRAPS
I agree Tiger Bhai. I was using MT Blade whi ch has Rachet Lock and oflate I bought Axor Brute , a Retro Helmet to match with my SM 650. Brute has Double D Lock System and within few minutes of practice now I can lock it without any problem. And best part is that I keep choosing between Blade, Brute and Bieffe and all three have different locking mechanism
Love all the explanation. Not leaving even the simplest of information helps riders who might not know even the simplest of stuffs for other but alien to them. Keep the great work going ❤🎉
Not many people know but the Double D strap is the safest, if you see most expensive, most safest and top of the line helmets will always have the double D This is safer because in case of a crash this strap is the least likely to break and cause your helmet to get out of your head. if you are not buying a helmet with double D, what is the point of buying a helmet that will not be protect on your head during a crash????? If you want to know more you can checkout Fortnine's video on this topic, he is fantastic motorcycle content creator, arguably the best creator in motorcycle content category !!

@@sayantanchatterjee3626in csse of accident . It takes a ton of effort to remove by others . If your hand is injured . Stay in the helmet . Modern dosnt mean practical. It's stupid to choose this than the quick clip helmet.
@@gamefreak8503 there is a reason a racetrack will generally not allow you to get on track without a double D ring strap. The minimal chance of a helmet flying off after a broken strap is not a concern. Removing a helmet in case of emergency is a tricky part where regardless of lock if the helmet is removed without proper neck stabilisation is a danger. Post accident procedure doesn’t depend on what lock you have it’s what happens during the crash.
Yeah, try doing that with gloves without looking at the buckles under your chin 😂 Double D is old school. Its just that the Americans want to stick with it while EU zone and rest of the world has moved to metal spring clips.
