Todays recipe is fermented ginger beer. This spicy drink is really delicious! In this video I am teaching you how to make a ginger bug as the 1st step in making homemade ginger beer. This homemade ginger beer recipe is perfect to have in your fridge! Ginger beer has a unique and delightful flavor. Fermenting ginger beer is really easy and fun!

THANK YOU BOTH FOR THOS GINGER BUG! I crave everything GINGER the more ginger flavor the better. I hate commercial "ginger ale" as it is entirely too sweet and not enough ginger flavor. That looks very refreshing. When making a future batch, try adding some peach puree or diced peaches to the bottles and allow to ferment for a ginger peach beer. Thank you for sharing.

That was fun. I've heard Mary's Nest and Heidi of Rain Country mention keeping a ginger bug as a fermentation starter as well. I couldn't believe the swell of that lid though.
