Oh man, YOU ARE A GENIOUS, I know this is 5 years old, but how can a masterpiece like this ever becomes old! Thank you, maybe you don't know it but your videos and your humble attitude and hard work is an inspiration to many of us that are struggling and trying to find ourselves in this crazy world. I embrace you man you are a truly special person. Semper Fi
Okay first off can someone please give this guy a sponsorship!! Did you all just watch this video and see what he did in his garage by himself bare-bones as hell with products from Walmart!! This shit turned out a thousand times better than 99% of the stuff I've seen on RU-vid!! And he doesn't feel his video with a whole bunch of nonsensical blabbering and then yells and not knowing what he's talkin about or anything he's straight-to-the-point its in-depth and gives you everything you need as far as information so you can do this on your own!! This is the best video by far that I have seen in all my years of watching videos like this on RU-vid!! Somebody please give this man some major credit because he deserves it!! Great job bro turned out really amazing!! You spent more money on the paint supplies from House of Color then you did on everything to make the door panels LMFAO I love that shit!! Showing love from Milwaukee Wisconsin 414!!
After 15 minutes of watching I was thinking "what the crap is going on here." Then went to end to see the results, and then I went back and watched the entire video. Man this thing is awesome.
I just wanted to say, Thank you! About 3-3 1/2 years ago I watched your video. I commented that I was installing air ride and a system in a Chevy HHR. I had never attempted to try anything like this You commented back. I respected you took the time to reply. That inspired me...I can do this!! I thought??? Now, to why I say Thank You! Little over 3 years now I went from a single car garage. To now a 10,000 sq. ft. shop. I learned fiberglass from your inspiration. From there taught my self how to weld and metal fab. Now building custom choppers and mini choppers. Thank You!
You are a master craftsman and a great teacher. I am sure people don't realize how much time and effort this takes. I dunno what you charge for a job like that, but it isn't enough! This style isn't my jam, but the ideas and the quality of work are very impressive. I'm going to do some dash and door panel work and I got some great ideas here to try on small pieces and work it out. Thanks.
I’m so impressed how this turned out. You started with a junk yard door panel and now it is a custom kandy work of art bro. Thanks for sharing the knowledge.
I went to trade school back in 1997 for Autobody And Paint but I learned more from watching RU-vid. I didn't start back fooling around with it until 2014
@@SprayWayCustoms you are nice and natural at what you do you and stitch by slick outta North Carolina are amazing keep up the good work I am inspired by you guys.
Exactly what I thought too. "No way this will ever look good. This is going to be some shit that he'll be the only one that thinks it looks good". I learned my lesson.
I admit it was taking me a minute to grasp what the end result was going to look like when you was about midway through. About 2 minutes later I started seeing it, I also seen how much work that it was gonna take as well. LoL. You stuck with it dude and didn't give up. You kept pushing forward and implementing new ideas on the way. Well you did it and dam knocked it out of the park! Great job man and keep following that creative gift, no room anymore for self doubt about your abilities. That ship passed long before you even got the fiberglass. LoL. Cheers!
BEAUTIFUL!! Nice work brother! I really appreciate your attention to detail and all the effort you put into showing us step by step! I know it's a hell of a lot easier to get it done without filming everything, so THANK YOU for sharing all of your work!! You're really talented!!!
Wow! That was amazing! Sometimes even small custom parts cost a fortune, and you whip out this masterpiece like it was a piece of cake! Fine workmanship right there!
I just found your channel. I like how you show all the steps and processes in the job, even when it looks all crazy and you make changes on the fly, it can turn out beautiful. Some people don't realize how much work it takes to make a custom part from scratch. I used to build carbon fiber airplanes and we built all the interiors by hand, its definitely a labor of love working with composites. You do awesome work!
I remember seeing this for the first time years ago, and im still blown away! You inspired me to experiment and get creative with my 92 Chevy silverado k2500. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us as always man we appreciate it
Aw man, y'all must not know bout Jennifer Holliday. I could listen to that loop all day and still feel it "And I am telling you I'm not going" Love it SprayWay
You should make a video of how to fabricate your own middle console and fiberglass it. I'm sure you would come up with something amazing because your work is very good I like your videos you truly show step by step 👍
Damn..this vid was like watching empire..just kept getting more interesting..even forwarded a couple calls just to finish watchin it..lot of essential step by step procedures easy to understand..u would make a good teacher bruh..305 need that work .
I've watched a lot of FG videos and this the only one that made me fully understand this thing. Bro you gifted. The end result is absolutely amazing. Keep it up bro.
I fell asleep I've been watching all your vids and this song was haunting my sleep dear God please make it stop. other than that, you've got one helluva skill level man!
Beautiful work! I like how you take the extra time to get everything perfect. I'm fixin to do my own door panels, and I've learned more from your videos than any others. Thanks for the detailed videos.
I gotta get that paint and color man. I was already thinking of going with a purple on my car, this color just sealed it for me. I'm definitely going with purple.
@@SprayWayCustoms , I have rebuilt door panels and made subwoofer enclosure with fiberglass before. That's not easy work. It takes a l ot if hours to do build at a level like yours. I wish I lived close by because we would be taking over. I have ideas but your craftsmanship is unrivaled.
Brother, when I watched this in the beginning, I was like “Wha Tha heck !?” But dude, you are the man!!! There is a method to your madness lol. Amazing job!!!
You made me a kandy fan! Now I want my car black and yellow in all kandy! Amazing job! You are an artist! That music on loop killed me. But how you went over everything step by step was worth watching. Going to start small and do a sub box build with Steelers incorporated into it. Kinda like the Chevy sign you did. Keep up the amazing work my friend.
You have amazing vision! I had a hard time seeing that chopped-up panel becoming the finished product. :-) BTW: Try using epoxy resin (used for countertops) instead of repeated attempts in using bondo fillers and sanding. It will save you time and effort while simplifying the process and materials list, and will result in a very high gloss finish! Thanks for the amazing video!
you've inspired me to go and buy all the stuff I needed. about to start my first job. ima post pictures probably for my first go. maybe u can check them out sometime. would be the work or your apprentice. I've watched pretty much all your videos. everything is clean af. don't listen to what no hater got to say on here. names chunk. showing some love from Florida. hit da flo. here we is boooiiiiiii.
That Is Above Proffessional Work. U R An Absolute Genius. When I First Started Watching U Cut Up That Door I Had No Idea That It Would Be Such A Fabulously Beautiful Work Of Art. U R Indeed An Impeccable Craftsman.
Yo bro you got straight skills! Good job wish u lived close to me so I could hire you to do some work for me . If you dont already have your own business you definitely got the skills to be successful. Your going to be a very successful business owner. Great job again!
Man I used to watch all those shows on discovery channel but who need all that when I can follow you and learn from the best Thanks for being you and the lessons
Yes! Your getting some serious love on YT because of this video and you deserve every bit of it! You got some natural talent bro and I'm honestly fuggin jealous! That door panel turned out with the quality of a high dollar custom car Fab. You will definitely make a name for yourself if you stick with it. And RU-vid if a great place to be for you. Twenty five years ago you'd be an awesome body and paint guy but with yt I think you could make yourself WELL KNOWN with the skills you show here. Keep it up, and next time you're in Austin Texas... I need some help with some door panels bro.. lol. I'd let you work on my shit anytime, and I only let myself work on my cars! Good luck!. Oh yeah who was that last song by? I laughed at it then next thing I knew I was bobbing my head! Lol. Thanks again man.
you should have skipped to the end because it came out beautiful...very professional...didn't seem like it at first hu...but it did. this guys got talent.
this buy far is one of the best doortrim video's on youtube...bar the crappy background music. swap the songs around ppplllllzzzzzz (the last song was good 👌)
Brother you are gifted in this craft. Straight up get yourself a small store/office where you can set up a shop and teach clasess like monday thru friday for a month. Teaching DIY people how to do it. You could charge each person for the course like $1000 each. Monday - Friday 4 hours a day.
Just happened on your video, what can I say?.........the background track pretty much destroyed my ears, as far as the fabrication.................an absolute pleasure to witness your process outstanding, now to the paintwork................are you insane? The colour and your skill? Well and truly knocked it out of the park so hard I'm positive it's half way to Saturn at this point. Had to subscribe immediately, you sir are a true artist
Man I’ve always hated the look of most custom fiberglass door panels/dashes on old schools but, now you’ve made me a true believer. Your concepts and execution are very inspiring!!!
@@henrylong45 That shit was driving me NUTZ!!! I just forwarded to the finished product. I should be able to sue for having to have that shit in my head repeatedly, over and over and over....
SprayWayCustoms do you have social media?I got a question about making a mold of fiber glass to repair one side of my car that was dented in quite a bit
To hell with who got negative to say homie that's some nice ass work you on point, I have 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood getting painted that same color keep doing what you do keep them hatin.

Honestly at first i thought this was going to look like a hack job, but im trying to learn fiberglass so i figured id watch and maybe learn some things not to do. Man was i wrong. Final results are ridiculous. I cant beleive how great it came out. Subscribed. I can tell already i can learn from you. Thanks for the great content.
Sprayway you got a Facebook. Man id love to show you my work I've done from watching and learning from you and my friend Pete at swrnc. Mad props and respect to both of you guys. Got a 95 explorer with 2 6.5 and an 8 in both front doors
Gotta give you props bro that creativity on a new level I haven't seen real creativity like that in years your making a path for any real enthusiasts to follow its really refreshing to see that there is still people out there crafting there vehicals instead of mail ordering prefab crap honestly I watched the whole video and seen your vision as you was describing what you was doing keep making these video
I never thought of sampling in another cars door panel. That really changes things for me. Thanks for the walk through. It turned out really nice. I never thought pleats could look so good. I might try something like that in my truck! I appreciate you so much, thanks for sharing your experience.
Omg at the beginning I was underwhelmed to say the least but at the end I am truly floored, you my friend have a true talent and do amazing work, it's just amazing how you went from nothing to show quality, keep up the good work.
SprayWayCustoms I don’t have a big enough compressor to paint. Is there any spray paint cans you would recommend from primer to clear? Ive built a box like this using fleece and use to work for a yacht building company called hatteras. Got plenty of background in fiberglass work
Bro i painted in school 14 years ago and I jjst wanted to say I got a little honda eg coupe and this video made wanna do body work again and paint cars again. Guy before me who had the car rattle canned the whole car and has over spray everywhere. Worst of all he done white over red 😒 😪 over spray everywhere and I got a couple rust spots to fix. Thanks for this video man. Ima repaint the whole car to this and maybe change my job title real soon. 💯‼️💪🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
You never cease to amaze me my Brother of cars... (what happened to the (inner inserts--that ended up pleats?) you were gonna vinyl or color to the car? --change of mind?--as many of us do in the mix..) NOW--post up what you would charge an average "joe" to do a set of these--so people can stop thinking we who do stuff like this are just trying to screw them..include hours and material costs! (if not sponsor paid for due to these vids...) House of Kolor is NOT CHEAP! neither is labor costs for us guys who do this type stuff!! ---nowadays everyone wants to run "big dog", but doesn't understand that--just because mine might look like that-that I did them myself--not paying someone else at the cost of not only supplies, but the hundreds of hours to do an interior like this and I don't work for $10/hr--(even if I did--some people would swear you were still screwing them!---LOL) I think it would do "justice" for all to see just what it costs even to do your own yourself like that..---then with labor costs to have it done by someone else!! ----Choke em up BRO! post that! LOL ---as usual--awesome job!
I really enjoy watching your videos cuz you're like an average person that can fix your car and you do it with people to understand and you don't have thousands and thousands of dollars in tools you do it like everybody else can do it I love to have you paint my I have a I have a '98 Riviera I would love to have you paint it but I'm from Ohio
I was mind blown when you started mixing the fiberglass bondo with resin to water it down a bit to acieve better self leveling property's great video!! Beginning to end
