"it might not be the right way, but it's the Sprayway." I'm Totally impressed!! it may've been a long video, but it was totally informative...I feel like i'm learning from a Zen Master of auto customization, Thanks for the awesome lessons.
Respect man. Your methods, and how you explain things so simply makes this very easy to learn from. I for one have laid a s...ton of fiberglass in my time, but always like learning new ways, and that fleece you use is gonna save me a TON of money basing things. Love watching you work man, keep inspiring!
Even older dudes such as myself being 64 yrs young am truly impressed with your work and has helped too inspire me too want to try something like this as well on my 92' Bronco XLT. Truly an inspiration. Thanks
I like the fact that you point out where you are buying the tooling and supplies, keeping it real. Most other channels/videos show only high end tooling and big name supply names. It goes to show that talent is talent, and you definitely have the talent part covered while using affordable tooling and supplies. BTW, that texture trick,WOW!!!! that right there blew my mind, added a new trick to my bag-o-tricks!!
I love what you do man , wow ! I would love to start something like this man or close to it , i like the way something looks when its finished and being reminded that its your worm and looks professionally done. Im beginning to realize im a DIY type of guy! Its cheaper when "You" know what your doing versus paying for labor as if "You" we're handicapped! Love your work man , i learned how to fiber glass from just watching your channel. Wow , what an impact , Right on man ! I don't usually comment on ppl videos either , thanks G !💯💯
I just want to thank you for putting up these videos. I have so many new ideas since I've been watching them. I got an El Camino that I'm going to customize and your videos helped me realize that it's not about the space available, it's about creating new space. It'll be my first custom job ever, so I'll expect a few mishaps, but I'll record it all and put it up when its complete.
You are the only guy who shows his work in steps and properly show how you do things . No wrong or right way as long as it looks good and lasts for many years so good luck Bro May God Bless You
I sit here and watched all of your video. It was great in explaining every little detail. You explained how to fix the little things that at first that didn't come out right. I have never even thought about doing anything with fiberglass, but with you explaining everything like you did. I now will give it a try. Thank you very much for doing this video.
Unbelievable those look so nice.. Not some chinsy overview but detailed step by step instructions.. Hopefully the old box will get some love soon.. That will be epic..
I watched one of your videos and now I have to watch all of your videos! You're really inspiring me to do some custom work myself. I'm looking at my 1990 Chevy and seeing all the possibilities after watching your videos. I just wanna say thanks man!
This is the most informative channel I have found for fiberglass door panels or pillars. I really appreciate what you do! Headed to your website right now.
Robert Hersey 1. Stop lying. Your massive amount of grammatical errors shows your true intelligence and someone that has accomplished so much wouldn’t have the time nor care enough to make a comment such as yours. 2. CUSTOM does not mean someone has a paint and body shop or even have anything to do with paint and/or body work. It’s literally anything he wants to do that’s not OEM or something that’s mass produced that someone can purchase. 3. If it’s his car he can do whatever the fuck he wants to do. Not everyone has money to go buy whatever expensive paint and materials themselves and if he’s happy with the outcome then your opinion means dick. 4. Your post only served 2 purposes. 1. To try to shit on him (being a hater) and 2. Trying to make yourself look/feel good about yourself. That’s caused by some deep rooted insecurity you have and this video or the original poster has nothing to do with your ability to satisfy a woman or the way your uncle touched you when u were younger. Find it elsewhere. I’d like to add that he didn’t mention anything about trying to get peoples business. He could just be a guy that like doing things himself. And if that’s the case, even if the paint did mess up years down the road. Then he gets to do it again for a very low cost and maybe even change the color if he wants too. And last of all. No. You don’t have a yacht No one would spend their life earnings to retire and blow it all on a damn boat. That’s stupid. Also the people that actually do have yachts know that it’s a huge financial loss and would have spent their money on a lot of other things before giving a significant amount to something that loses value faster than a half chewed 4 piece chicken nugget meal from McDonald’s. To the person that made this video. GOOD JOB. The shit came out looking clean and for doing something in a home environment it looks very professional and I would gladly pay for your services. You’ve inspired me into doing this myself with some pods for my a pillars and doors
"Rundo" I gotta say, that's brilliant! It's one of those ideas that when you see It you think, "That's so simple. Why didn't I think of that?" Who knows why, all I know is I appreciate you sharing such a great idea.
One of the rare VIDs I watched on youtube in which no questions remain open, which is always a good indicator of mastery! Great video and thank you for sharing your expertise!!! Subscibed!
Amazing work as usual brother, these turned out KILLER! Never considered the bedspray myself but i think it turned out awesome in the end, I'll have to try it sometime. Dont let the haters hold you down man, you're rocking this shit. Keep up the good work man!!
New subber here SW...as a noob to the fiberglass world, you showed me a different way at going about building up A Pillars...You laid the smack down on this build, and you done it on mostly a minimal budget...Now that I have saved the video, I will be able to slowly utilize it with doing my own build..Thanx for the vid
Your videos are fabulous. I have learned much. And your narration is terrific and full of hints and other helpful nuances to make the job perfect. Thanks man, much appreciated.
Pro Tip. When using a hole saw, to avoid "blowout", instead of drilling all the way through in same direction, stop, and drill back though the opposite side. 😉
I gotta say bro, this is the best interior fiberglass video I've watched yet..i feel totally confident about doing this my self now! Thanks for taking the time to do this video!
I had to hit the like and subscribe buttons. You share all your tips and tricks, clearly show any imperfections, and how to correct them. I've learned more in this one video, than all the other channels combined. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge. I've been researching how to construct an over head console for my 57 D100, and A-Pillar pods for my 99. I'm ready to tackle these projects now that I know what to look for, and what products to use. I would of never thought to staple around the base to retain the shape. Thanks again.
Yes you have to staple around any curves that might come up when applying the resin because it interacts with the glue unless you use CA glue....Appreciate you Al Cyr
I appreciate what you have done and shared with everyone. I have watched way to many TV shows showing custom work. None of them show what is actually involved. I like how you show everything from start to finish. Keep sharing your ideas. Thanks from the great white north, Canada.
Man, I've gotta tell you....I've got a lot of respect for you and what you do!!! You've inspired me to get back in the game and do what I love. Thanks Bro!!!
Thanks for showing how it's done.... I been watching your videos on my free time. I'm glad to see a brother doing big things on his own. Much love I've learned a lot watch the videos you post up.. Thanks keep'm coming.
I like this idea of projecting the tweeters outwards. Looks professional. It's given me a few ideas as I'm new to messing with dashboards. I'm a carpenter by trade so I got a little head start. Cracking idea. Thanks a lot for taking time to make the video. 👍🇬🇧
I seen another comment in here saying it’s not the right way but the sprayway, I agree. You do you and it still came out the way you wanted. At the end of the video I like how you kept the camera on the finished product for a long time, Shows pride ! I’m almost done with mine .
This is exactly what instructional videos should be like..Full of details,Excellent camera work too. I feel like im doin it myself. You're a great teacher bruh. Beautiful work!.
This is just great. I was hesitant to put my tweeters straight into my sail panels because I really wanted them angled and higher up. This vid breaks it down and makes it super simple to fiberglass my A-pillars. Thanks very much sir. Feels like a real build and shows the small things, which most how-to's seem to obfuscate.
You'd be the best homeboy to work with. I love your videos. Please show us some of your setting up technique for painting. And especially what your doing with bondo and resin. I am lost when it comes to guns and pressure and those types of things. You make sense of all of this. Please keep it up. There are lots of us who need ya 💯
Nice job and a great instructional video for newbies and the "experienced" You are a real talent and show that you don't have to have a million dollar shop and spray booth to do good work and be creative. Bravo!
Appreciate you taking the time to show us amateurs how it's done. Good video, lots of details, & showed us how to take it to whatever option we wanted to paint. Thanks
I watched so many videos and none of them were as informative as yours I wish I saw this one first it would of saved me hours of time anyways thanks for such a detailed video I’m ready to try it now.
You are so smart man. I appreciate the DETAILED video. I have been watching dozens to learn how but they always leave something out leaving me with a bunch of questions you missed nothing you motivated me so much I appreciate it. I will be doing my first pillars next month.
Bro this is LD from Dallas. I appreciate you making theses videos. been wanting to fiberglass me door panels in my Suburban and just never knew how. watching you is going to be a huge help for when I get started
I made some buckets to install some speakers through a flat panel. I used fleece and resin with supports hot glued and the fleece stapled. The resin melted the glue and the buckets collapsed. I wound up giving it another try, but shot some finish nails into the supports. That time they stayed together and now are installed on the boat. Sounds great.
Thank you for the great videos man I've always wanted to learn how to do fiberglass work I used to do car audio installation years ago but now I just do it on my own cars and my son's cars in my spare time and now I'm going to learn how to do fiberglass your videos step-by-step are very understandable thx
Got a 83 box Chevy.... you just inspired me to go fiberglass on the interior. Working at a body shop in H-Town bout to black it out from bumper to bumper and the entire inside fiberglass and wet jet black. Yessir
I know this is an older video, but dude you do a damn good job and I love watching your videos bc you do a good job explaining things and give me a chance to learn. THANKS

Dude, I know this video is a year old. But honestly they still go way hard!!! Especially from a motivation stand point. As much as I have some reservation, or fear, of trying something like painting on this level, your vids help out a lot. Thanks again for posting them. It helps with a budding painter or someone wanting to try to paint!!!
That hot glue a life saver.. man I was thinking how to do something like this but it was involving bondo/fiberglassing spikes onto a protruding rounded flat topped surface... man imma make this outa cardboard and get it done today!!! I think i gotta watch your classes on a daily basis.. gets the mind going.. inspirational, and damn creative!!!
I enjoy watching your videos. You take the time to explain what you're doing. I can tell you've been doing this type of work for years because of your experience and the finished product. Keep the videos coming and God bless!
Love your work, when first started watching I thought, "that's not how I would do that" but your end results are always great. Thank you for taking the time to share.
Brother you keep it real! A TRUE inspiration! Giving out knowledge AND words of Wisdom! Keep it goin. I like yo style son! We can all learn something from you! Fiberglass or not! Yur a talented individual! 💯
43y/o car speaker guy since I was rocking pyramid system back in91 in my first wip. Dude, appreciate the knowledge drop. I get this is an old vid, however I am now a new subscriber. Much respect.
