What is finished? If everything is finished then even our desire to sin should also be finished but is it? No. If eternal security is true, then what is Satan trying in God's children. Flee also youthful lusts which warreth against your soul. Now if we give in to these youthful lusts, then who is going to win in this war? Soul, right?What does the loss of the soul mean? Is it not losing your own salvation?

With respect, Piper wasn't misleading anyone. He was expositing Jesus' preaching in Matt 5 on lust. Romans 8:13 "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live." An evidence that you are saved is that you, through the Spirit, fight sin. If you don't, you don't have the Spirit, and as the verse says, shall not live [that is, have eternal life with Christ].

Believe this message for die and go to hell for not believing. Believing in Christ means believing all HIs Word and not just the death and resurrection of Christ JEsus, which is powerful, but we must say no to sin once we're saved. I care about you and say this with love. I hope you will do the same and exhibit fruit of righteousness and the Spirit.

He didn't say that =) if you don't fight lust, that is a clear evidence you aren't saved. The idea that you can be regenerate and yet not at war with sin is heretical (1 John 2:9-10; 3:6).
