We will all wait for your 1099-MISC video and not file taxes until then 😂 quarterly tax payments are confusing, but turbo tax says you can skip the Jan 16th deadline if you pay in full when you file. Looking forward to clearing that up in your future video 🙏

The IRS doesn't accept tax returns until January 29th. Hopefully this is all resolved before then.

I have been filing my taxes through the Turbo Tax app for the past 5 years and I’ve had to pay every single time. The app doesn’t give you the option of filing for free. Do you recommend I file on the actual Turbo Tax website in order to get that free filing option? I hope my question makes sense 🥴

The free filing depends on the type of activity that you have (for Turbotax). So it won't matter if you use the app or the website. There are other software providers that allow you to file for free based on your income level (those providers are listed on the IRS website).

Lots of free ways to do tax . I did free tax USA and it's free for most tax situations. You do have to pay for state which was $14

The app/software will update as necessary. There's still time until the IRS starts accepting tax returns (January 29th). I will wait on any updates to report as the info comes in from Congress.

I got my LLC partnership taxes done and I'm happy with it. But, the K-1 for personal returns is still unavailable on Turbo Tax. Do you know when the k-1's will be available for personal returns?
