Awesome video Shawn!! People have to be smarter than the tools they are working with for them to work properly.. These lighters have to be completely empty be for refilling them.. Great job buddy..
Incorrect. You need to bleed the extra air until you get mostly butane coming out then fill. But only someone with a lot of experience would know the difference. Penny tend to just pass what they hear instead of verifying from a reputable first hand source. You can/should, but definitely do not have to if you bleed the extra air out so you can make room for more butane/propellant.
thanks for the vid it really helped me out also didnt know you could dial down the flame and was wondering why it wouldnt light so thanks for the education as well btw what brand as far as hand held lighters would you recommend?
I ordered the triple flame butane lighter from your site. If anyone is experiencing this same lighter leaking butane and not lighting, then open up the lighter and you'll see the tubes are not connected to the tank. I used pliers and connected all three. hope this helps
I filled it with butane but it wouldn't light. I forgot to purge it first. Is that why it won't light? If yes, how do I pour out the fresh butane? Thanks.
Just received my lighter, having actually watched this video before purchase. It's been purged then filled. No luck. I've tried it with the valve in several positions, from closed all the way and then open an 1/8 turn to opening several turns. No matter where it is, gas continuously hisses out. I'm afraid I'll be returning it to try another.
Would someone please explain if its on your fingers like when he got it on hia or your fingers sir explain to me please how thats safe wont u light up I got a little on my carpet.
Im a fan of your work but i hate to inform you that your killing your lighter with that butane ronson is one of the mosst impurest brands of butane, so if you want your lighter to last along time and i mean along time i suggest you switch to Xikar which is the purest on the market. Just some friendly advice take it or leave it. oh and on a side note you should gas your chamber at least once every few weeks
is there any butane that specifically made for jet lighter? I cant seem make my lighter work! it looks like it doesnt have enough pressure inside so the flame is weak not coming out like jet anymore. I used premium butane by Colibri.
You have to clean the nozzle. I use a capfull of rubbing alcohol. First Soak it for five minutes then I use the wire from a bread tie poke all of the nozzle holes. Rinse it out really good with the remaining capfull of rubbing alcohol.i use a soft bristle toothbrush . Let it dry out . Put it back together and rock and roll!
Why didn't he empty the lighter by pressing the valve on the bottom? Instead of letting the flame burn out the rest of the fuel? Is there a reason for that instead of using the valve? Maybe so not to release too much gas, for safety reasons?
+B Dill Butane gas is heavier then air. So if you let out unburned gas all over the table and then immediately afterwards try another lighter it could be pretty nasty. :)
@@zombiegirl156 Okay. If I mix a 3 to 1 Ratio of Butane and Lighter Fluid, in an attempt to continue filling a Butane Mini Torch with the correct Butane Gas stuff, have I accidently made a *grenade* bomb?
I don't understand why its not working i did everything you told me to but my lighter is still not filling up ive been trying to refill it for 4 hours im gonna fucking lose my damn mind if i don't figure this shit out
