OK this video helped a lot but I got one question how does your school allow nuts?!?! Like I’ve never met a school allows you to sell peanut products like wow!!
Actually, our cafeteria sells uncrustables....which are packaged PB&J sandwiches. The machine in this video is in the faculty room...and peanut products are some of our biggest sellers.
Hi, Mr. Bill. I have a Crane 148 snack. Can I set the spirals that are on the candy / cookie row (in my case, "E" row, be set for chips? I have noticed that the spirals will work as individuals; however, will not work as pairs to dispense chips. (It sort of turns the bag to one side or the other.) My question is, is that a programming setup I need to research; or, it is it designed strictly for smaller snacks like cookies / candy? Thank you. I really appreciate your help, as well as, all your great learning videos. Take care and stay healthy. -- Matthew
Hello Matthew. In order to change a candy tray to a snack tray you need to purchase different motors and different front trim pieces. Or you can try to find someone that is parting out a 148 and purchase one of their snack trays and swap out your candy tray.
Thanks! We have many of those flavors in our snack machine in the main faculty room...but they really don't sell that well for us. Out of those, the best seller for us is the plain Lays chips.
Actually, most of those extra spirals were in the machine when we purchased it. I have purchased spirals from DSV vending, but most vending machine parts companies sell spirals.
You can press F7, then Enter on your programming keypad. This will take you into TubeFill mode. Then just drop coins into the coin acceptor until you feel it has enough change.
