I have a holding company with 2 owners and need a w9 for a subsidiary. What do I put on lines 1 & 2 and do I put the EIN for the subsidiary or hold co.?
The subsidiary would be considered a separate entity from the holding company. If you're filling out a W-9 for the subsidiary, you would put the subsidiary name and EIN on the form.
