I’m sure people will make fun of me, but a lot of liquid fill products I’ve purchased in the past always have a “FILL LINE” or “FILL UP TO HERE”.mine didn’t come with it, and it doesn’t say in the instruction manual.

Distilled water is recommended to preserve the life of the tank and to reduce the risk of bacteria and mold growth. I personally use tap water with demineralization tablets. Just make sure if you use tap water to clean frequently to prevent bacteria and mold growth.

My son tried to lift the blue top off the base and it didn’t budge and he also tried turning it & twisting to get it off but the blue top isn’t coming off. What is he doing wrong? We must fill the water up so my baby can breathe better ASAP
If it doesn't get the chance to properly disperse into the air, it will fall and land on the floor, leaving it wet. You can put some plastic down under it if you are worried about it causing damage. I placed my humidifier on an old barstool and it seemed to keep it high enough off the ground to prevent floor damage.
Thank you so much for the woman directions it worked great! Yes you forgot to say how much water to put exactly but come on ladies use your common sense it's only water if you mess up. You also go on to say you fill yours all the way up so they can decide for themselves how much they want ot need . So. You do say it just not like here's the line fill to here
I would rinse the base and tank before I filled it up. I keep mine on a stool across the room from the bed. That way if a lot of condensation builds up, it won’t mess up the furniture. (I’ve never had any problems with condensation, but I’m just over cautious) Just make sure your little one can’t knock it over.

glad you did the video and step by step. However, consider your next recording in a room with less echo and speak louder because of the distance or use a microphone. A strategic towel under the unit might help in spills and absorb some of the echo. Well done!
I’m not exactly sure why it is doing that. I have noticed when there isn’t much air moving in my living room, my mist floats around at waist height. When I place the humidifier in the bedroom, I typically have the ceiling fan running so I don’t see the mist floating around except for when it is blowing out of the top of the humidifier. I’m not sure if that was any help to you, but I do appreciate you watching the video.
Yes, when you clean the tank, just dump that water. You can also dump the water out of the base each time you fill the tank to ensure your humidifier will work properly. Sometimes, too much water will remain in the base causing the humidifier not to turn on.
Is that water on the base which leaks from the blue water pot normal? That happens with my humidifier too and I was thinking that it shouldn't happen? I would really appreciate a reply!
Yes, it is normal to have water in the base. There is a spring loaded “stopper” that is on the tank (the knob where you fill the tank) that allows water to pass through to the base once the tank is back in place. The water has to pass through the base to be turned to mist. No worries though, it should stay contained in the base and tank. I hope this helped!
Be careful with cellphones, lab tops or any electronic devices, moisture may cause damages. My cell phone warned me that it was too much moisture in the room before it stopped working.
This particular humidifier does not have a slot for the vapo pads. I did just come across some aromatherapy tablets specifically made for humidifiers on Amazon. From what I read, you just put the tablet in the tank with the water and just clean real good once that tank of water is empty. I’ll be checking them out and reviewing them soon!
If I may add, I use distilled bottled water or tap water in my humidifiers, however, I always boil the tap water at a full boil continuously for 7 minutes first (Important Note: Let the boiling water cool to room temperature before putting in your humidifier). I read that tap water is not the best to use. It can leave pollutants, salt and mineral deposits that can form in the humidifier's tank (and the filter if you have a filter). Over time, minerals and salt (these are added to tap water to make it taste better) can build up and clogs your machine, leading to malfunctions. Also tap water does not produce the best quality air to breath due to all I had mentioned above. I also read that the best purified form of water to use is Demineralized water. You can buy this in most stores. As always, when it comes to our health and our children and families' health, its important to do our research and be well informed. I THINK I remember a foam piece that I removed from the top of the humidifier. That has been about a year ago so I don’t know how reliable my memory is 🤪.
Place water in the tank not the base. I usually fill mine up as much as possible. Then I screw the cap back on and place it in the base. Make sure you plug it in after you have the tank in place and make sure there isn’t any water on the cord. I hope this helps!
Are you talking about the tank or where this mist comes out? The tank just sits on the base and does not lock. So you have to make sure to lift the entire unit (base and tank) when moving it.
Dump a little water out of the tank, clean the water out of the base and then put the tank back on. It should work fine after that. It’s just overfilled a little.

Like so many other products the manufacturer is hoping you screw up your mechanism asap...instructions are microscopic...Congress needs to require pictures on the outside of the box that clearly explains "things".

The tank is more than half way full? Is the tank fitted down on the base? I know these are probably things you have already checked. I only ask because at first, these were issues I had.
I wouldn’t. After reading a lot about humidifiers, adding oils to the water can cause damage to the tank. Some humidifiers have a slot for Vicks Vapo pads.
You know what I’m a complete fool in this video! I used the filter fish in my Vicks humidifier and not in the safety first 🤦♀️ mom brain is a real thing! There is a cap on the bottom of the tank that twists off. The first time I tried to open it, it was very difficult. It almost seemed like it wasn’t made to open.
It just depends on where I want it in the house and what I’m using it for. Recently I had a bout of coughing spells at night and ended up sleeping with it on a stool by my bed at about medium mist. It helped a lot.
Is it blowing out any mist at all? Make sure the tank is properly on the base. Maybe add more water if the tank isn’t full. If it continues to have issues, it may be a manufacture issue and may need to be swapped out.
I’m so sorry you are having trouble with your humidifier. They do make tablets that you can use to help reduce the mold build up. On another note, I do thank you so much for watching my video and sharing your experience! I’m sure all the viewers appreciate seeing different opinions on this product.
honestly the worst product design. spills everytime you refill it, as if mothers don’t have enough to deal with they have to go on youtube just to operate a humidifier
