Thanks for this, it’s way, way out of my pay grade atm but something to aspire to! I’ve just bought the game on Ps4 . Incidentally, I very much appreciate the fact that you included the console buttons when repairing the squid ship, it’s very hard to find any tutorial vids that include button instructions and to be honest, operating the controller is my biggest challenge so far. I’m constantly having to go back to the manual to find out how to change from one tool to another!

I never even thought of farming repair kits from derelicts. Sure, I'll probably put the broadcast receiver in the personal refiner while opening the door so it's not used and grab some tainted metal for nanites on occasion, but that is a great tip. Thanks Q Ball.

Think about new players or when someone open a new save and they don’t even got the portable refiner that’s a good way to get a squid ship or any ship for free also there’s 2 locations with only 2 glyphs needed to get there so take that in mind it’s super helpful

if im lazy enough i usually just "cheat" and pop in creative, repair everything, then install what ever i need/want, then pop back into normal mode and its like i was never in creative. there is nothing stopping me from doing that like removal of achievements so what's stopping me?

In order to get the free Emergency Broadcast Receivers at the Anomaly, you have to have first done a derelict freighter with an Emergency Broadcast Receiver that you bought from the scrap dealer.

@@joshuapantoja277 Hell, fine I’ll tell ya. Okay, so you go to any one of the systems listed in this video where you can find a squid ship. Now pulse towards the space station and land inside. Stay in your ship. Wait for a Gek lifeform to land inside the space station, it doesn’t matter what kind of ship they have. When they eventually take off to leave, follow them out immediately. Once in open space together, attack and engage them in a dogfight. Destroy them, then return to the space station. Repeat these steps for the korvax and the vy’keen lifeforms until all three races relationship status falls to zero. Then once you have finished them off, return to the same space station, run immediately up to the space stations main console, upload the doomsday virus, and then find the nearest gek and swiftly melee them in their face with the butt of your multi-tool. Return to your ship and wait, soon squid ships of all shapes, colors, and sizes will drop on the landing pads around you. You’re welcome.

Didn’t work for me in 2023… but if you spawn your freighter in and wait around it should show up on there. Side note my friend got the same ship (diff colour) in a diff 3 star system. I never saw it there though so think he got lucky.

What they don't tell you is that there are locations with said Squid Ships that have Com Balls all around them spamming the place which normally is a good indication that they may be obtainable. However, in certain cases you have people blocking you from obtaining these ships by building bases over it, overlapping one another even. The trick is to find the base computers of such bases and report it. But in some cases the ships completely disappear when you do that.

What do you do if the persons base isn't showing up in the teleporter...?

You're probably gonna have to manually search for it and use the coordinates provided in the video. More than likely the base was deleted or it's bugged if it's not showing up. It'll be a bit more time consuming, but should still work the. You can view your curent coordinates in first person while flying on the bottom left moniter in the cockpit.

Day is 08-18-2023 tryed to get the great White Squid and unfortunately there are so many communication station surrounding the white ship that it is now glitched and non-recoverable.

The "Great White" is no longer recoverable. Some clever spoiler turned the ship into a non-existent state - you can walk right through it and it is unavailable for claiming. Great video.

When I use teleporter to find "other bases" I see different ones from the ones shown in the video, or none of the ones I'm supposed to go to. Are they gone?

Unfortunately, what I ended up doing was having to use the coordinates to guess my way to the right area on the planet, but for some reason, those particular bases no longer showed up. In fact some of the buildings were gone, my theory is bases were deleted?

@@timberwolfdan5910 I did this really time consuming thing, I was able to find them. Qball has a video exhaling how to navigate via coordinates, but if that's kind hard, what I did for the squids I wanted was look at the marker point when he shows (for some) the larget galaxy map of the planet where the ship is at, fly to the general area of the planet that corresponds to where his marker is at an you'll notice the - and + of coordinates will match the ones he showed for ship location, however the numbers won't, so just fly around checking how the numbers change and you'll find it, it's not as quick as base jumping but that's how I ended up finding my ships :(
