I met my wife overseas. Many things in my job lined up perfectly for me to be with her. We prayed together many times and left everything up to him to decide if we were right for each other. I can say the hardest thing is that she is catholic and I'm protestant and sometimes I feel like I'm more in tune with my spiritual self than she is. We disagree on a few things, but we put God first in everything we do. My Goal in my life now is to surround myself with more Godly people. Being in the military defiantly makes this difficult.
Recently discovered your channel and my story is similar. I met my girlfriend at the time two years ago while we were in school. We were working on an inquiry project and then progressed into doing a Bible study together. As we continued getting to know each other, we then started dating. The relationship lasted about 5 months until it was over. At the time, I was complacent spiritually. I was struggling with the circumstances around me. Then, I felt God speak to me through Revelation 3:8 and that’s where he first started speaking it me. He then revealed to me that she would come back and I’d take her into marriage. I’ve prayed and even fasted over this and God told me the same thing. I’ve used this time of singleness to continue growing spiritually, and had doubts that this will even happen. That’s why I’ve been praying over this cause I ultimately want to be married and have a family. But, I also want God to be glorified at the same time. So, that’s kind of where I’m at currently
I have autism. There is no one for me because you Christian women seem to hate autistic men. I've longed for a woman for my entire life and God screwed me over. Chatted with an atheist liberal woman I met on a dating app. She gave me her number and after 8 hrs of texting, she decided I wasn't right for her. That was God telling me not only that I shouldn't settle bc I live in one of the most sinful and non religious cities in America but I should never again try to date an atheist. I’m 26 but with or without a husband, I am putting it in God’s hands and praising him no matter the outcome. I love this video because kind of like the two farmers who desperately needed rain and only one prepared his field to receive it. I’m preparing for if God does send me a godly man.
Your points are really good. The difficult part is that you can follow all those guidelines and still barely meet suitable christian people to date. I know so many great christians (both men and women) who really struggle with it.
I love your videos they are always based on scripture, which I don't see as much anymore, so it's always refreshing to hear from someone who is gleaning Truth from the Word itself. It just makes me fall in love with God and His word so much more, so thank you! As someone who is single (21+ years strong! Yay😄) the first one was most encouraging because I am very private but it I do believe going to someone older, wise, and trusted is wise and would be good for me, especially since in my environment, I have never seen someone do that before! ☺

I agree with you, Kaci, especially with principle 3. Think of what the person spends their time doing and where they spend most of their time. A guy was interested in me, but he's not a Christian and spends most time playing video games when not working, so I knew that wasn't what I wanted.
This is an excellent video and clearly God- inspired. Speaking as one who did not follow these principles- even though I knew in my heart I should- I really urge everyone watching this to take heed. In a nutshell I chose earthly love- and lust- over waiting for God’s best and my spouse is still a non-believer 30 years on. Trust me, it opens you up to a world of pain and missed opportunities to do the Lords will and whilst I know I am forgiven for that wrong choice, I will always wonder how much more blessed my life would have been if I had been stronger at the time.
I'm 57 year old disabled veteran single for 10 years now if not more, I lost count, I have pretty much GIVIN up hope on finding a lady in my life, I don't even know how to go about it these days with all the craziness in this world not to mention I live way out in the country where there's not many people or places to meet people. I'm trying to keep the FAITH but it is a hard thing to do.

I’m still praying on this, but we met while serving at church. Ironically, it was a ministry the guy’s dad was the leader of!! I am still single, but I’m trusting God’s timing!! Wow! I did need this ❤. I will say this I was in the same YA group as the guy for a bit, but this season I began getting more involved with the woman’s group. As much as I want a relationship, God pulled me towards another ministry- if this relationship is meant to be- He would it happen. Prayers for you, Tyler and lil Judah baby!

I'm kind of scared of relationships, I don't know if I feel that I'm ready or not. after my first 'relationship' in late middle school/early high school I wanted to make sure I healed myself enough from my childhood so as to not bring in unaddressed baggage and to feel more secure in myself. I'm in my second year of college, and am taking a theology course cause my school requires it (I was also really looking forward to learning more about catholicism from a theologian whose focus is on Latinx studies). There's this one guy in the class who never fails to catch my attention. I do find him visually attractive and he's super engaging in class, always raising his hand and sharing how what we're learning (still general overall information rather than specific passages yet) to a specific story and is able to say it as if he's reading from an invisible Bible. There's a voice in the back of my head that says I should wait but I don't know if that's just the mantra I've had on in my head for years when it comes to relationships. Another part of me wants to try to talk to him after class...I feel so conflicted 😖 Pray for me please, I would take any I could get 🙏😭 Edit: HES SO NICE 😭🤧
My advice is that you should let the Holy Spirit take the lead. by this I mean, Let God confirm to you if the guy is the right guy for you 'relationship wise'

Before I was reborn in Christ, there was somebody in my life who God would not let our relationship be compromised bc He knew I was not where I needed to be & I would always push that person away and now that I’ve found God, I ended up actually gaining feelings for that person and now I’m just trying to have faith that is the person God set out for me bc he’s one of the best servants God could ask for and I a know everything is in God’s timing and His Will but I will admit that I’m completely nervous over this situation and he’s been guided against me from the people in his life bc of how my past was

I’m 39 and single…I fell into promiscuity in my late 20s/30s when I was a substance abuser and deeply regret the amount of men I’ve slept w trying to find love. Alcohol and drugs are powerful and clouded my judgement…I got nothing but hurt, rejection, pain from those men not to mention 2 STDs. I deeply repent my worldly ways. 😢

I had my correct one. I dint know how i ruined it. Things went wrong, so wrong.. we couldnt find jobs to get married... he struggled with depression and i ve lost my heart. I felt i died 4 a long time.. its been more than 3 years and i still love him.. dont know how to think..
You have to move on. Live your life. If it's meant to be it'll be... In the meantime build relationships, find a career, work out and/or stay active... Just live your life.

Single here. I disagree with you kaci, the events up until the present are due to our choices in our life. Now if we are walking with God and abiding in Him, then yes, the past events led us to where we are due to God guiding us. Maybe that’s what you meant. My ex left me not because God was teaching me a lesson or God caused her to leave, it was because of my selfish acts and I wasn’t living for Christ.
I'm currently in a relationship where my girlfriend is still married (we started dating before we started going back to church) and throughout the relationship, a lot of issues arrised. There was RARELY any peace or trust. She came from a marriage that nearly destroyed her but God took her out of that place. She's currently separated and we're still dating and official. As I'm getting closer to, I feel less of an attraction to her. To sum it up, her trauma and its effects have heavily affected our relationship and my mental and emotional wellbeing. Not to blame her or anything of course. But while I approached the relationship with love and hope, she approached it with fear and anxiety. It's much better now but it still pops up here and there. But my love for her has changed and I'm unsure of what to do. My dad says to wait, I feel God telling me to wait even though I feel like I can't do this anymore because it feels like I'm living a lie. She prays for the relationship to get better while I pray for God's will to be done despite what we may want. Bottom line is, I'm still a bit lost on what to do. I know God's telling me to wait but I just feel this sort of dryness when it comes to the relationship. I know God Himself wouldn't bless me with a married woman, especially back when she and I were in fornication and lust. So the whole thing confuses me when He hasn't told me to let go and leave but to wait. He hasn't answered our question on whether she and I are who He wants for one another, but says to wait. To the both of us. I ask you all to pray for me. For clarity, inspiration to obey His will and trust in Him. I doubt God is telling you to wait because this isn’t biblical. You’re not supposed to pursue a married woman. She has all kinds of challenges with her marriage (also sounds like she’s emotionally unavailable by the way you describe her) and you’re just putting yourself all in that mess. The best thing to do is stay away. She has to properly divorce and work through getting over her last relationship. You will always set yourself up for stress or heartbreak if you go for people who are not fully broken up/divorced and completely healed from their last relationship.
My brother went through pretty much the exact same thing. He was with a married woman and he believed God was telling him that was the right thing. I believe this is completely wrong for him to assume he knew what God’s will was. And it was wrong of him to go against his own conscience and morals because of a “feeling” that he had. I don’t mean to be harsh but you need to trust the conscience God gave you. It isn’t God’s will for you to suffer from relationships. God gives them to us to honor Him and bring us joy. If those aren’t happening, that’s a sign to leave.
As someone who was left by her spouse for another person, I sure hope you dumped her. My ex wound up marrying the person he left me for, who he met while I was pregnant. I wish she had dumped him after he went through everything he did to ruin my life and abandon his baby for her. But nope, she’s here every other weekend to focus her efforts on stealing my child from me too. My ex lied to me about being a Christian, lied to me about her, and thinks he’s done nothing wrong. And I hope you’ve repented for your part in the ending of that marriage. Why would you even continue to pull a married woman from her spouse if there were issues in your relationship? Of course there were issues…it was incredibly sinful and shameful.
Did you pray a lot for a godly relationship and a husband? What did you pray? I know there is no magical prayer - just wondering. I've been single for many years too and get discouraged because I desire and pray to be in a godly relationship with a woman and get married to a woman who is growing her own walk with the Lord and who I am equally yoked with. I know God has a plan, but it's just hard because nearly everyone I know is in a long-term dating relationship or married and I strongly desire to be with someone and I at times feel like a loser who no one wants to be with.

Welcome to the club. Better get used to feeling like that because that's just the way it is. Nothing will change and I've long given up. I'm never asking god for a wife again. I'm done wasting my time.
I would say it's both. We pray for our future spouse and let it be known to God our desires but we should also make an effort to go out out and meet people. Be it a young adults group, a ministry or somewhere you know you'll find people of similar values. God is with you friend😊🙏🏼

My son - he's running with the wrong crowd- he got arrested and he has a lawyer. He was bonded out. He has become a drug addict. Addicted to crack cocaine. It's hard not to worry when your a mother. I need to surrender my son to God. I pray he goes to drug rehab . Pray he doesn't end up dead. Anyway I need to work at not worrying.

I Hate to say it, but those kinds of ppl need more jail time. It helps them stay away from the drugs and get the help they need. Prison also formally educates inmates and they come out with new skills. It sounds like your son needs distraction and quality time on his hands instead of waste in quality time. Excuse me RU-vid lady, so i had a dream and i saw myself holding hands with a women ive known since i was 12. I jumped off a ledge and our hands were inseparable and she jumped with me. And i felt that verse "what God has Joined together let not man separate" And ive had other dreams where because of us, her family came to church and her divorced parents were back together because of us. Also a wedding day, and she was so happy and i was so nervous. And i felt my dad who has passed, watching me in that moment and reminding me of the serious commitment i was making. It was so clear lol i didnt have to be so clear. I know exactly who she is. The funny thing is i dont even think we ever liked eachother when we were younger. Ah so confusing! I hope you don't mean suicide. I am 35 and waiting as well. It is very hard but it is doable. Do some hobbies to get your mind off of it. I'm not gonna promise he is going to send you someone but he can give you strength to go through it. Be encouraged! You're not alone ❤

I've been single for a long time also I'm a baby Christian there's a small Baptist church down the road from me so perhaps it would be a good idea to go and make some friends as I don't have any I haven't had any friends since high school but you know how it is once graduation comes everyone seems to part sure I've had friends online I have one I met online 9 or 10 years ago? she lives in Europe and we keep in touch with whatsapp so surely to go to church to make friends and if it is in God's will for me to meet a man then so be it and if not that's fine too :) I know I need Godly people in my life and fore sure need some Godly friends

I hate when u say that attractiveness should not be the most important thing. I get why I say it, but I need the woman to be attractive and to catch my attention in order for me to step to her. I cannot be like most people who grow to like someone over time . I must find her attractive first, and then hopefully she has the godly qualities I’m looking for.

What if the people around you seem to have an interest in keeping you single because it works to their advantage. How do get leaders in the church to actually realise that being single is not ideal and that living alone often causes stagnation and may even be bad for your wellbeing. There seems to be a lot of people who think that they 'know best', when they in fact know very very little about the people they walk beside. There are also those who simply want to 'keep you under their thumb' and have absolutely no respect for who you are. You need to carefully choose your 'friends'. Many 'Christian' friends simply only want to 'dominate' single Christians and some can even see themselves as being 'superior' to Christians who are single. Many even 'patronise' single Christians. Many even 'laugh' at single Christians also. Some only want to prey into others 'personal lives' and are only your 'friend' because they are gossips and cannot mind their own business. Others seem to think that they have a 'right' to 'stick their nose' into your personal life. Christians need to respect each other and not think that 'they' know what is best for another person. There is often a stigma attached to being 'single' and many apparently love to 'patronise' single people, as though they were incapable of doing anything for themselves. Be very very careful who you 'choose' to be your Christian 'friends' as many are simply 'looking after' their 'own' interests and have no regard whatsoever for 'your' interests. Those who 'love' to 'give advice' are often simply only 'talking' in order to make themselves 'feel important'. Their advice in reality may be the 'wrong' advice that you need to hear. Be very very careful who you listen to and take advice from multiple sources and analyse advice given very very carefully. Thank you for this video.

There were no Israelites back then. Abraham couldn't have sent his servant to get an Israelite wife for his son. They were idolatrous, just as Abraham was, before receiving a call to leave Ur.
I actually find this Bible story pretty unencouraging as a single woman. The two people who ended up marrying, Isaac and Rebekah, did virtually nothing to find each other or bring the match to fruition. So in modern day where my future husband doesn't have a father who sends his servant to look for me, how does this apply? Because as the woman, all Rebekah did was be kind to a servant she stumbled upon while completing her daily chores and she somehow wound up with a husband...so while I think all of the points that were raised in this video are valid, the Bible story itself is not terribly encouraging to me on my journey to try to find a husband
Kaci what is some biblical principles when your getting your divorce but God has given you a dream of your husband the Lord also gave him a dream we do go to the same church but that is the only time I see him he does know my situation when I met him He told me God removed the woman he was with. How should a situation like this be approached we both were not expecting none of this because they both had similar situations Of break ups but we were both very open with each other when we had the dreams he was asking God the same questions I asked why is this person in my life .

Yep until the other person goes to glory. You can't get married because if you marry while your ex husband/ wife is still alive then you will be committing adultry.
God loves you. Cling onto hope, God, stay in prayer. Keep living life and don’t force yourself to do things, but from time to time keep going to social things and take care if your body as you should do anyways. If you desire marriage, God knows and wants to give you the desires of your heart. Contentment and patience is important. God bless ya and enjoy your life!!
