pressure is a bad idea cause it makes pp run out faster so the wild pokemon who's in red will have to struggle faster, so you'll have to switch pokemon faster and loose time...

I can ensure, this method really works! I've done 2 successful shiny hunts with this method, 158 for my shiny lumineon Luna, and 494 for Laurence the shiny luranris (the numbers referring to how many times the Pokemon called for help)

Just while ev training I found a shiny caterpie. I also found a shiny Magikarp while trying to find Dhelmise's silly 1% chance. Both by accident, both useless.

Why would you give a smeargle: - Soak - Recycle - False Swipe - Recover If it has k#no killing moves then how can it kill the other pokemon in SOS hunts

For those really long battles like with the Dhelmise, its always good to keep a couple Timer Balls in your bag. The catch rate on these things increases the more turns are taken in battle, so in a case where it takes a long time to find a shiny through this method, a Timer Ball should work where an Ultra Ball doesn't. I was trying to catch a Skarmory the other day (wasn't shiny, just trying to get an uncommon pokémon) and I used maybe 4-5 Ultra Balls, and once I used a Timer Ball, it worked on the first try. They can be really useful, you should try it!

Thats what happens when you use Pressure and dont prepare yourself for a shiny. Its best to build your whole team around that shiny you want, look at its moveset etc

I gave up on shiny Bagon after 335 tries...

At least get the shiny charm before doing this. All you gotta do is complete the Alolan dex, which is way better than the national dex! Probably the hardest thing for people would be version exclusives and version exclusive ultra beasts

1 in 4000 for shinies. There's a guy (I can't remember where) who tells you the odds of getting a shiny pokemon, and that's what he said. Happy hunting!

Just a simple yet really helpful piece of advice: Preferably avoid the ability Pressure on the pokemon that helps you shiny hunt. The PP of moves is used up twice as fast increasing the chances of breaking your chain or even, the shiny you encounter eventually struggles and faints, like shown in the video. Therefore try a Pokemon with Antimidate or Unnerve ( e.g Haxorus has Unnerve as a HA and can learn False swipe as well as Aerial ace for fast and easy shiny hunting ).

I thought shiny dhelmise was pink. But red seems badass it looks a bit like blood even its seaweed

Hey, if you use foresight on a ghost type, you can use false swipe on it. Both moves can be learned by decidueye.

Hehehehe hey TyranitarTube, here's a great shiny encounter. So I had just gotten the fishing rod in Moon and I wanted to give it a spin, FIRST, Very FIRST encounter I get I find a Goldeen! At first I thought it was normal and it was just the lighting...but then the star showed up. I started screaming XD I am so glad nobody was home that day.

I chained for perfect IV Ditto. Have have 3 with 4 perfect IV and one with 5. So I did over 160 chain battles and not once a shiny showed up :/ but multiple Dittos with the HA

I did this earlier after watching the video, and I actually encountered a shiny bagon after about 30 minutes! It was my first legit shiny encounter after 9 years of Pokemon and I finally encountered one! Turns out I wasn't really paying a lot of attention, and killed it by accident. It has now been 3 hours and I haven't encountered another one since.

thats why you dont use pressure.
