Transcript:
One of the hidden gems of Royal Holloway Library is the Founder's Reading Room, but not many people seem to know how to access it. So in this short video I'm going to show you how to get from the library all the way across to the Founder's Reading Room. We're starting by the help desk. We are going to go outside, so. Dress accordingly. But let's get started. Let's show you how to get to Founder's reading room.
Once outside the library, you can just take the steps down into the Founder's Square or use the ramp access as well if you prefer a step free route.
Once you've confidently navigated the steps, you're going to head to the left, so you're going to the left of the Founder's Building towards the woodland.
Once you've gone to the left of Founders, the good news is that we're nearly there to stay on mission. Try not to get distracted. So it's gonna be worth it when we finally get to Founder's Reading Room.
There is a lift that you can take to the next floor, but today we're just going to take the stairs. And you've reached your destination. Welcome to Founder's Reading Room.
Founder's Reading Room is open 24/7 for silent, independent study. It is unstaffed, but it's regularly monitored, so if you ever do require assistance, you can always contact security. But otherwise. Enjoy your studying.
