How to Find Gold Every Time. 

All that work for around $25 is that right?

How many people would rather do this everyday than go to your job?

a bit of outdoors, a bit of workout, a bit of gardening and nature :D a bit of cash =p good day tbh

How lovely to be able to spend time in nature and rivers and streams and still make a little $$$ for the privilege.

Work all area behind the rock bar and funnelled area then work towards the banks. Dig down till you hit rock floor or clay layer. In dry season clean out creek or work area completely, including cleaning out the crevices, then process. I've cleaned out many small creeks over the years in far north Queensland and had lots of success with gold, tin, gemstones. I use home-made sluice box in a kit form for easy carry or a "Banjo" type sluice box set up once on a good run that's long term working. Any old timers reading this will know of a " Banjo " type sluice box set up. Best way to remove ironstone from pan is with magnet from underneath before you fully concentrate your fines or use magnet in old film cannister gently gliding over top of fines in pan. Hope this little trick helps those who read the comments. Cheers from an old fart now in WA still, digging gold.

I am a retired Air Force disabled veterean. Lately I have been diagnosed with PTSD. I use panning along with medication for theraphy for treating my PTSD. After watching every video from Vo-Gus, I have tripled the amount of gold I have been finding. Biggest difference is test panning now, before I start digging in one spot. When I was in Colombia I told the uncle there is GOLD right there . He said not here . I panned anyway , the black sand came up , I knew there was gold and more panning showed plenty of it . he was shocked , lived there all his life and never knew . Was kinda exciting pulling out a few grams .

Well here my lad, You can come to the UK and specifically South Western Wales - Pembrokeshire. We have the Preselli hills, which as far as I can see, are blue clay, but I've never been up there as I don't drive (I've never got round to being not nervous enough to pass my test, despite being a better driver than most of the people I've had in the back seat). If you came to to the UK and my area, I could pick you up from Milford Haven train Station and have you stay at mine. Free of charge. The airport you'd be flying into would be Cardiff airport, most likely from Somewhere regarding London (Heathrow/Standsteadetc). There's a shuttlebus to the train station, where you'd change at Swansea, or Carnarthen. I'd be happy to pick you up from Carmarthen/Swansea. Then you can distinguish between the gold and yellow rocks in Pembrokeshire. I'd love for you to come over here and even just chill out for a bit. BTW, I'm a Northern Irish lass and there's just something about Pembs that draws me back here (I lived in Pembroke Dock for 3.5yrs, before we moved back to Northern Ireland for 11yrs, and moved back here). There's no reason to worry about driving as we drive on the same side as you do in Australia (on the left-hand side). Just to say that you can stay with us and come and go as you please. If you're going gold panning, I hope you'll invite me with you (I'll have the dogs out beforehand, or they can come out with us up the Preselli's).

i have a 8 inch wide gold rat sluice, dream matt and that i fitted a home made highbanker to it , i put through about 100 plus shovels through it before i clean up . is that to many , whats your thoughts i run a bucket at end of sluice to catch the sands etc even thou the bucket overflows my thought that gold would sink in the bucket ??, and pan it out as well seam ti find 2 or 3 flat specs in it , the other day i was out found 4 or 5 nice flaky pieces in the bucket, whats your thoughts mate

I've had this idea for 30 years that one the creeks on our farm might have some gold in it, so I watched this video last night then went out this morning and with in 15min I found some colour very happy. Cheers for posting bud.

Finding gold is one thing... ...finding substantial gold, is a whole different story. You can find trace levels of virtually every precious metal, pretty much anywhere... if that's all you're after.

1 gram = .035274 of an ounce. .41 gram x .035274 = .014815 of an ounce .014815 x 1,933.52 (todays spot price for gold) = $28.65 (US$)

To find gold you need a dredge, at least one excavator, a nice big truck to carry the load to sluicing and of course a lot of water. Otherwise you will find some dust gold everywhere you try :D

Awesome content, total newbie here. Gonna be moving to a farm with a small creek that occasionally gets heavy rainwater running through it, seems like the best place to start practicing. Your video helps a ton and is fun to watch for one. I'm gonna be aiming to make my own jewelry and didnt even consider the gemstones you could find. That mat is awesome btw
