Isn’t this whole method negated by just putting on the most popular keyword with “broad” search term on the campaign? If I’m selling a red spatula and do a campaign for “bright red silicone spatula” and bid it at $1 but my competitor bids “spatula” broad at $3 a click....isn’t amazon still showing the competitor for my long tail keyword instead of my $1 more specific bid??
I was trying to lower my CPC on Beauty Catagary, that too new launch... I think this long tail kewoerd strategy will helps... To reduce my acos (in terms of cpc Sir,How many campaigns should i run with long tail kewoerd strategy?? Kindly advice Thank you....
Hi Jagadeesh! I like to have 3 "primary" exact, phrase, and broad campaigns that contain 10-20 of my top-searched keywords and then 3 "secondary" exact, phrase, and broad campaigns which each contain hundreds of relevant long-tail keywords. The "primary" campaigns are to maintain/ increase rank for high-searched keywords while my "secondary" campaigns generate profitable sales and do assist with ranking for dozens of long-tail keywords. Hope this helps!
As long as they are all relevant to your product - no. You can add 1,000 targets per ad group so create 4 ad groups. With this many keywords the key is to start at a lower bid and slowly increase.
Hi Ran! Focus in on the 1,000 most specific keywords to your product and create a campaign/ add them to your existing campaigns to start. My guess is you have a lot of keywords that describe your product category i.e "red kitchen accessories" vs. product i.e "red silicone spatula". Focus on the product-specific keywords first.
I was implementing your method and Im stuck between a problem. I have two sets of words for group 2 and 3. How do i make keywords out of that? Second, what if the long tail keywords dont have enough search volume to get impressions? Edit: Like there are so many keywords where the search volume is n/a
Hi Mohsin! Would you mind expanding on Q1 when you refer to "two groups of keywords"? 2. Worst case scenario - you don't get any clicks AND you don't spend any money. Best case scenario - you get cheap clicks with a relatively high likelihood of sales. For PPC advertising no impression kws are not a personal concern of mine. I hope this makes sense!
@@SumnerHobart ok so what i actually meant was that lets say my product cake toppers can also be termed as cake topping. So how do i include both them? Or should i put my main keyword in group1 and 2 and then come up prefix and suffix? I had another question that how is your method different from phrase campaigns?
