Attachment to the result always remains in some way, shape and form - and may be that then manifests as trying to perform good to ensure sustenance and it also manifests as intention to fight back against people that go against you in the field because either their thoughts and ways do not match yours or its their controlling and negative attitude (which causes more distress than anything else and gives rise to anger, fear, resentment, confusion, doubts). Experience and increased understanding of the spiritual principles and increase in faith will help. Do we have to work on improving fighting and combating skills while in the field based on the prevalent laws of the field we are in. How could Arjun fight without manifesting rage. Is rage a natural thing to manifest when there is a threat or repeated distracting annoyance (regardless of purity of intention). Thanks so much for taking us on this internal journey!

People always get motivated by external factors like money or fame, but the problem with this type of motivation is that, it keeps on fluctuating, like If your boss praises you for your work, you get motivated and work even harder, but later if he points out any mistake in you, the motivation fades, and your performance at work also starts getting poor, so it has a reverse impact too. Swami ji gives a beautiful message that we should work as a service to god, for sake of God. We should be internally motivated, such that even if the external factors are favorable or unfavorable, it is immaterial to us and our performance.

God does look at our intention & not to the result. If we are externally motivated then it will cause tension while internal motivation will purify our mind.

There is a fine line between attachment and striving to achieve goals. Any task/goal needs to be broken up into smaller sub-goals and assigned a timeline to achieve. We then invest all our intellectual resources towards achieving the goals as planned - and if there is a hinderance to that plan, we want to overcome that. Which requires at times to utilize faculties that are considered negative. How do we handle such situations? Thanks for all the guidance.

Great inspirational video. When I saw the white mouse on the screen, I saw a wonderful creation that has been produced to be abused. My wife is a great supporter of Dr Hadwends trust of no testing on animals. I feel that it is the barbaric treatment of animals human beings have done for so many years now, we are repaying that karma. That and the destruction of nature. We must stop all of our explotation of animals now and let them be. Thanks for sharing your wisdom. :)

We should not be externally motivated. External motivation causes tension. But when we change our philosophy, I work for the pleasure of God, then that person becomes internally motivated. Now he doesn't need any external incentive. Those people who are detached from the fruits of their work, they are always satisfied. So now the results are not that important. God is not interested in the results. God is interested in our intention. He wants us to purify our intention. Please like, comment and share this wonderful wisdom with everyone.
