A simpler way to find the monoliths would be use an exobike lol and scan for alien structures. Gives the monolith every single time. Saves a lot of time Jason
Hey Jason, ive found out from the discord that Atlantid multitools at S can have up to 50 mining bonus, while Sentinel types have 50 in damage, same with the Staffs, except staffs have higher stats at lower ranks than sentinels.
Pretty interesting storyline from the second Monolith, Seems like all things on a Planet are connected through the Sentinels or thier "Glass" Network, so if we mine anything it hurts the planet or the sentinels and rhey call for help, which is the wanted level. Pretty interesting depth to the story!
There is a new station in the Anomaly for deleting MTs, it's where Tethis stands, easy to find. Just be sure to take all the upgrades you want out of it first before you delete it. Very concise video, thanks for sharing :D
I haven't played NMS for about two years, I played before that because the game didn't need a better PC, after upgrading the CPU and even keeping the GPU (gtx 1050 ti) I hope it works, my problem before was the CPU because it was a 4 core / 4 threads, now that I have a much better one I hope it works, I really miss playing NMS I don't know if Hellogames has added more content to the game's story, but I hope so ...
I picked iup an A class of the Atlas and one of the pistoning sentinels when I was salvaging sentinel ships. When you take the brain to the monolith to set it up for the pilot interface you can also pick up the multi tool at the same time.. I, ofcourse, got the piston ones form the sentinel camp place, whatever those are called.
Atm I've found 5 different versions of the gun. I'm now testing staff builds for S class as i hunt guns. Btw after you add the atlantieum you can talk to the stone again without doing the monolith. So many parts to interchange. Not sure if it's a certain set or the machine itself.
I had no idea these new multitools were going to be part of the update. I came across one by accident when I was grabbing a new sentinal ship. The monolith popped up with that new pillar and asked if i wanted a new multitool. I was totally shocked. The only problem is that I already had all my top s class tools all outfitted etc. I had to decide which one to give up. They should have allowed more tools because i already had c class staff that I just got and had to give up an s class for it. The update won't take effect until you've completed the previous updated and you should be totally outfitted by them. Making you give up a tool is not cool. So while I love the new update i'm not a fan of the outcome.
I would add a note here that with a Singularity expedition save you can also get the multitools (maybe bug?) because you see that interface. No quest is required.
Just to let everyone know, if you want to see what rewads you get for the next expedition you can go to the space anomaly and talk to the quicksilver trader and look under expedition 11. There's a crazy looking jetpack exhaust in there and a cool looking new egg, if that is the right rewards.
This game is incredible it’s the best Space Survival Exploration/Roleplaying game I love being an outlaw my favourite race is Korvax but these new Autophage look awesome
Great stuff, as always, but why were we not guided to it thru a quest?. And also when i try to scrap an atlas mtool my Game freezes..🤬🤬 I guess its a "feature"
kind of disappointed that they are starting to require you to have finished the main mission line before being able to do new content. i've been able to take my time playing the game and still get new update content, but now i need to finish the main story missions before i can get the quest to start the new missions for this update. kind of lame.
Since I have three mold farms running all the time, I have 25,000+ nanites pretty much all the time. So money's no object. However, what is the benefit of having an Atlas multitool other than aesthetics?
You sir are a gentleman and a scholar. The difference in Nanos makes perfect sense since the amount of slots it can handle is so many more than the original, imo

I don't now how the heck people would just wonder onto these ones without any YT videos.. We should have got at least the first one at the end of the story mission.. I finished the story, and just went on, I didn't even know I can open the monolith interface once again for the multitool..
This could be me as I am on Xbox, however I do not think that the Story Part from the Monolith is necessary. Whenever I do those Monoliths on the Dissordant Interface, simply going back into them once the Atlantideum is Inserted will allow access to the Multitool.
Heads up!! Scraping these new multitools at the decommissioning station in the Anomaly crashes the game (at least on xbox)! Every time I have tried the game freezes and crashes.
I spent a couple of hours on a planet and all the Atlantid Multitools were C class. There was never a variation except in maybe the loadout and where that supercharged slot was. I'm thinking that the class doesn't change either... or I was really really unlucky.
Build an exocraft summoning station on your freighter and your summoning platforms at your home base, then all you do is summon your freighter above you any time you want to use any of your vehicles and you can call in any land vehicle to your location. Never have to use resources or make platforms again.
Does anyone have issues with the neutron cannon upgrade not being able to charge? I thought it was a bug when attached to the new MTs but I tested it out on my original one and still doesn't charge. It might be broken until the next patch.
I don't know if this is just me or it's what happened while the atlantid damage output is less than the sentinel(in my case that is) it have slightly higher accuracy and fire rate
(Unrelated to multi-tools) Can anyone explain to me why every single sentinel ship I find is red? I've been looking for a blue (or black) one to match my colors, but no matter what I do they're ways red, I watched Jason's vid on a blue one, and that black one, got to them, they're red, I watched somebody else's vid on a different blue one, still red, I've only ever found red ones, my multiplayer is off and everything, sorry for the long post, it just gets extremely annoying when you follow videos to the T, spend the time finding the coordinates, finding the ship, and it's not the color in the video/coordinate exchange, am I doing something wrong?
Probably a glich with graphics or the planet ship pool, or just terrible luck, I would suggest possibly reinstalling the game to see if that fixes it. Make sure to back up saves
If your game crashes, it breaks the chain and offers you a different Atlas Multitool. I visited 3 Monoliths, was getting the same model, each a better class, then my game crashed and when I came back, it's now a different one.
