Hey Nate, I am younger to the community and never got the information on a pre-release tournament so thank you so much for teaching me and making me more inclined to make time to go to my local card shop next pre-release. Thanks again Nate!
@@RealBreakingNate they are great! The pokezard becoming a champion is my favourite video so far. I’ve always collected but never played, think I’m going to try and get into playing. Really love all the content, never stop, all about the positive vibes
Hey Nate. Always good seeing you around. My wife played yours first round and she had nothing but great things to say. Said she had fun and was very nice.
I’m planning on going to one of my local stores for prerelease thank you so much for your video! I’m nervous and excited about it. You’re helping me know what to expect!
This past Sunday I went to my locals where I normally play other games, but I went for my first Pokémon tournament, I collected cards played the video games since fire red and would watch openings like you, but never learned the TCG, when I walked in I was greeted by 2 people I never met before and we began to talk and share interests, when I came time to open our kits and build our decks I had to take all the knowledge I know about deck building for games like vanguard and magic and throw it away to start fresh and I ended up getting 9th place out of 28+ people! The people I talked to At the beginning found me in final round and we had a nice talk about if I wanted to start playing casually, and I said I’d try, maybe buy a prebuilt deck and a box or two to get me started and they, inbetween the rounds, bought me a new Vmax deck and we went in together on a box of lost origins where I pulled a V zoruark, I hope when scarlet and violet set comes out to build a deck around miraidon or spirg! But I look forward to more awesome videos with SV base set right around the corner
Hi nate you have got me back into pokemon after 3 years i love it when you go down to the danger room and go to the pre releace events i remember whaching you when i was younger and it bought back so many memory's when i started to whach you aguen you also have give me inspiration to start my own RU-vid channel (pokéellis) thanks nate and keep up the positivity
it was so fun at the pre release where i was i got the really cool arcanine ex and a couple of other ex/ trainer gallery cards. this set is awesome and pokemon is doing a fantastic job! 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for the information at the start😊 Videos like this really make me want to start Pokémon battling! Just noticed the scarlet and violet Nintendo switch in the background
Such a nice video, Nate 🥰 Thank you for all the information! So weird seeing the grey borders, even though I am used to them in Japanese cards, it still feels weird in English 😂 I can't wait until it releases and we get to see you open boxes and new products!
I pulled the alt art Great Tusk in my prerelease box! And I went 3/3! It was my first prerelease event 😊 Congrats on the fantastic ex pull! That’s one of my chases!!
My first pre release was this one and hadn't played in 20 years...I lost my first 2 but won my 3rd.....but it was sooooooo much fun just meeting people and playing simple decks and not having to build a deck from cards across the ages lol.....going to another this Thursday.....highly recommend even if you don't know what your doing.....everyone is friendly and they will teach you 🎉❤
@@RealBreakingNate Oh and I forgot to mention this is my granddaughter's first generation of entering and she chose Pawmi.... Which I absolutely loved playing..... And I'm going to complete her a master set for her Gen 9
Love the video. This looks like so much fun. I ain't never played before. But I've been collecting Pokemon cards for about 2 years now. I've been wanting to learn how to play for a while so I definitely need to find a place that does pre-release's and go
Have not been to a tourny yet. But your videos got me in to pokemon. Will definitely be at our local shop that just open fulltime. Excited. Great work and thank you for the amazing videos bro
I went to my first one for silver tempest after seeing your video about them and will be taking my some to a scarlet and violet intro pre release on Saturday!
Your so funny Nate!! You were interviewing your friend and Marie, you didn’t like her answer, so you just moved her out of frame!! You guys are awesome!😊
My first ever prerelease kit was at gencon a long time ago but since I returned to play in the sword and shield set after evolving skies up to now has been great for everyone who came and our tournament had 4 rounds since we had more than enough people to play in it. Hopefully when I get my box it will be fantastic pulls for the near future and the same will be with you good luck. 🎉🎉🎉
Scarlet and violet was my first ever prerelease or pokemon event in general! I went 2-1. Definitely had beginners luck, pulled the full art tera Gyarados from the build and battle then an alt art Koraidon from the prize packs! I had a blast!
dude i absolutely love your vids and my dream is to see more new videos that you make every day like 4 episodes a day! Sending some positive vibes and love you and the community!❤
My first prerelease was embarrassing. I didn’t know any of the rules so I had like 6 cards on my bench. I pulled a full art team yell grunt which was really cool. I did end up getting one pack for participating even though I didn’t win a game.😂
I got Oinkologne ex as well in my B&B Kit, and pulled 2 Lechonk. Took out one of each of the Paw line (Same deck as you Nate but Pawmot as my Promo) to fit them in and dropped Lightning Energy to play a Zangoose and a Desperation Belt. Went 3-0 and got a Iron Tusk ex in my 3 packs for playing. One person's B&B Box at the Pre-release I went to was nutz: Miradon ex, Alt Art Miraidon ex and Full Art Penny. I ended up facing him for my second game and won when Oinkologne revenge Heavy Stomped his Miradon for taking out Zangoose (who got damage in first before falling.)
Thanks for explaining how to find prerelease parties locally. I've never actually played the game I've always been the collecting type , however I'm going to start learning the game better and playing the TCG itself. Hoping where I go there will be players who will help teach/explain the rules and how cards are more specifically played etc.
Heck yeah! Love this video so much. In NZ we don't really have anything like this event.... or maybe I'm just not looking in the right place 🫠. Stay rad!
I haven't played competitively since toys r us used to host games on Saturdays and you got that little book to stamp and got cute little badges lol....... I'd be terrified to try again 🤷🏾♀️
I went to a prerelease tournament at my local card shop and got second place in the seniors division that was my first top 5 finish in a Pokemon tournament.
I really want to play a Pokémon tournament in my area of California at my local card shop! Even though I have never played the Pokémon TCG i actually think I’m going to have a lot of fun! This will be my first tournament!
I love the vid and this made me want to start learning how to play again and go to my local card shop where you can trade and play against others too thanks so much also I’m almost done with Pokémon shield again it got deleted when my last switch broke so I got a new one and I’m already almost done in almost a week
I havent been to a pre release tournament, one of the nearest ones to me is also the danger room, recently I went out to find some of the pre release and saw that the 2 places I went to had shipping errors so they werent gonna get them. This video made me wish I went there instead.
Your video makes me want to go to my very first tournament I just don't think there is any in my city, keep up the good work I love your videos. I hope that you are going to Charlotte in September because I will be there I would love to meet you 🙏
This video very informative and I would love to go to a Pokémon tournament and play cause I have never gone or played before so I would like to experience it just one time
Hey Nate thank you for your videos! I love doing card hunting myself over here in Europe. I'd love to do it in USA one time. Will you miss Jessie and James if they get replaced?
Our shop got left of the prerelease list for the Build and Battle decks, so they can't run their prerelease tournament event this coming Saturday. Not sure if they will have any other S&V stuff, but we will just wait a week until official release.
Nice, would love to attend a tournament or prerelease or something sometime. Just recently started the TCG so still need to build a good deck and find some friends to play with.
I did my first ever pre release this weekend, I also went 0-3 but we still got 3 bonus backs and I won an extra pack from a random draw plus made some really cool trades.
My first pre release was Chilling Reign and I’ve been to everyone since 😁 I absolutely love them and think they’re super fun! I love playing the TCG ❤️
For anybody who would like to start playing the Pokémon TCG, I highly recommend prerelease tournaments. I’ve been playing in actual tournaments for a little while now, and I recently went to a prerelease tournament on Sunday am I’m going again tomorrow night. It’s so fun to play the TCG with modified rules, and it’s really nice to meet new people interested in the TCG. Along with the fun of the TCG, the packs are a great treat
I had to stop and cry when you pulled Gardevoir We opened over 100 packs of scarlet and didn’t pull our chase card. 😭 Ok positive vibe coming back slowly. Congrats 🎉 on the pull!!
