The high end bus conversion market is small compared to other industries like automotive, marine, etc... My 2006 Bluebird Wanderlodge 450 Lxi was unit #41. 58 total units were built. That's it. No more. Trying to put a value on those buses is almost impossible. Just have to go by asking prices on RV trader etc...and previous sales. My father was a tractor salesman for over 25 years. His mentor, owner of the business, always told folk to be happy in your trade. I have always tried to be that way. Thanks again for another great video. I appreciate it.
When I got ready to sell my coach I called around to multiple dealerships and even got a written quote from one. I used it to pitch the other ones. Best to look at major dealerships vs small ones. Large ones are trying to move units. RVT and RV Trader are also a good place to start. That's what I compare everything too!
Great information to know. Sure appreciate your channel and wish I was close by to help your dream Newell shine. This is a great video, it gives me hope to do as you did when it is my time in 4 years. Happy trails!
Interesting on the cut off data about 10 years on motorhomes and 6 years on travel trailers. Neither hold their value and the financing makes sense. RVs need a revamp in the market somewhere.
Thanks for the info on the dealer mark up. We're desperately trying to find a good deal on a 07/08 Tiffin Phaeton 40ft. I just don't want to pay COVID prices. We're ready to buy, but we can wait a year or two if needed though. This is the first time in history an RV has actually went up in value. Things are crazy right now!
If you think you will get your money back when you want to sell of trade,it won’t happen ! Buy what you can afford us it and go on ! If you take good care of it like you should it will help. But it is what it is they deprecate and that’s all there is to it ! Sad but that is what it is ! Thanks Andrew Great Video !
YEP RVs are depreciating assets no matter how much you pay for them. But, selling to the dealership on trade worked out better for my situation and everyone's is different. They will try to sell you more than you can afford. It sucks on buying or selling side of the RVing process.
Love the interior of your car/suv..could not catch the Lingo when you shared about it what kind it is may I ask? Also..great help as always and love your buddy.
At the end you talk about the guy doing appraisals on Facebook. I'm not sure what good his info is going to be because no seller is going to accept a number even close to what a rig sells for at auction it seems to me. Just looking at a few rigs on NADA it looks like the low retail number is always 25 percent of new list price or very close. I'm looking at Monacos in the 2005-2008 range and asking prices are very far above NADA high retail. With all the stuff going on in the country and fall around the corner I'm thinking some bargains may be had.
sir if you didnt know. what you are doing is unleashing knowledge that people can use to be wise. the most honorable act of any free mason is that. the contrast of this is important to note. Because some of our greatest minds fell into irrelevance because of societies ignorance to recognize and nurture great ideas. like Nikola Tesla to name a figure of history. all that being said and for whats its worth. my brotherhood recognize your due diligence and i would like to thank you for being you. I hope my intricate explanation helps motivate you beyond what youtube algorithms do. its important that we do not remain indifferent. after all it can be said that the chaos of today current events can be attributed to our acceptance of being indifferent. i do believe the right to chose to remain ignorant is important but way over valued and exercised. i hope you have a great day sir.
I turned it off after I realized that this video is for those who can afford RVs in the Prevost class and not little towable travel trailers like us paycheck to paycheck have.
