My uncle got me into their music cause i wanted to hear something new. He warned me, this is gonna be totally different. Now im about to be 31 and i share my knowledge of this band. It blows my coworker's minds. I was 1yrs old when he died.
Happy birthday to Per ! He was gorgeous and talented. Today he would have turned 53 years old and seeing how his younger brother is now, I think Per would have been gorgeous at that age the same. Per, I owe you a bouquet of black fake roses on your grave, prince of darkness 🥺🎶🤟
I dont know....I sure hope Pelle is in a warm, peaceful place, not a dungeon in hell. His art is fascinating, but his eternal resting place I hope is heavenly.
Pelle is in the paradise that was meant for him! What/wherever called to his spirit when he was here. A star in black velvet nite shines a piece of his essance. Always as alive in memory. And until my time, as was in his, I carry my grave with me!
I just stumbled upon this video recently and wanted to praise the uploader for what he did here. What an exquisite way to remember one of the main members of Mayhem. Beautiful music and visuals were used to great effect here. It’s really incredible, thank you a thousand times over for doing this.

@@draculgrotesquue Exactly. First I was searching at the cemetary by the church. Then I had no idea where to go, so I just took a guess. I followed the road and took left by "västra infarten". I spent a good 45 minutes there searching. Finally I found "östra infarten" further down the road, and from there I found it pretty quick. Had to wait an hour and fifteen minutes for the bus back to Västerhaninge. Lol. It was a LONG trip, but well worth it. Got a great picture and left a guitar pick by the gravestone.

I don't really think they care if you pay your respect. Why would they? I think what they could find rather disturbing is that people put roadkills on his grave. If I remember correctly his brother mentions in an interview (SVT had some 5 part documentary about black metal) that he thinks it's cool to see people Pelles grave, I go there a bunch of times each year
I've been there this summer... It was a huge moment for me and my friend. 🥹🔥 If you don't have a car good luck ! We had to take the train until Västerhaninge and walk more or less one hour to arrive at Österhaninge Kyrkogård and walk again until we found his grave. It's a very large cemetary with a lot of places so be patient ! 🔥

After Cobain was cremated half of his ashes were given to his mother which she keeps at her home in Aberdeen Washington & the other half of Kurt's ashes were brought to a Buddhist monastery named Namgyal Monastery (412 N. Aurora St) in the city "Ithaca, New York" where they mixed his ashes with clay to make a Buddha icon. It still remains there in the basement. No Kurt was not a Buddhist & Courtney is weird.
