In this case, the diagonal of a rectangle is given, and we must find the length and width of the rectangle given some clues. We use quadratics to factor and solve this situation! I did the 3,4,5 method and got the same answer because it's a right angle

Yes sometimes you can use different methods and the 345 method works great when you have a right triangle! In this case it was just showing how you can use quadratics to solve the same question.
