Almost every " How to like a pro" video shows a tv already mounted at head height while the host is standing. This video was incredibly refreshing. I don't remember the last time a youtube "pro" used the term EYE LEVEL. Thank you from an actual pro.

haha. true. Too many videos suggesting eye level while the TV behind them is 60" or more center above floor.

Is keeping bottom 1/3rd of the TV at 42" eye level good enough? I find that for 85+ size TVs, if you do 42" center, there will be less than 19 inch from floor. If you have a soundbar below, then there is no room for entertainment unit.

Thanks for this video, you guys saved my bacon. I have a TV who's center point was lower than the TV mount bracket, some how I got it in my head that I should subtract the difference from the target TV center height rather than add it. Once I saw the video it made perfect sense, you saved my patchwork on my wall and added aggravation.

Great for upright seating, like in a workplace. We tend to watch movies in a reclined position.

The guy in the video said 42” in the seated position. So the inference then is that you’d do the same thing with the tape in your reclined positions. Play around with the height to your liking.
