You just divide by square root of 10 and it will be exact. divide your final number by 3.16 while taking half the the number of decimal places and rounding it down Example: sqrt(0.025) becomes 25*10^-3 3 decimal places, so final answer will have 3/2 rounded down or 1.5 rounded down or just 1 decimal place. And it will need to be divided by 3.16 so (5*10^-1)/3.16=0.5/3.16=0.158 This is the right answer

you said that how many numbers come after the decimal point then half it and rewrite it. so if there were 6 numbers after the decimal point inside the square root then the answer will have only three digits after the decimal point. my question here is your trick/rule does apply to even number of numbers, but how about odd? what if there were 3 numbers coming after the decimal point inside the radical? the answer can't have 1.5 numbers after the decimal point :/

Stay on topic. Nobody needs a refresher on exponents and if they do they should be looking up how exponents work. Keep the examples concise and varied. All of yours were relatively the same concept. Sorry if that came off as criticism but my intents were that it was constructive.
