How to find Wonderkids on FM24 Console (PS5/Xbox)

Here are the best ways of finding wonderkids in Football Manager 2024 on Console, whether thats PS5 or Xbox, or even the touch versions on switch and iOS. Search around the world and scout the right young players who are going to turn into the world class footballers you need to win more in FM24.

Just to clarify because some people don't listen and get very angry in the comments.....THIS IS THE CONSOLE VERSION. You can open it on pc via gamepass and get the PC style skin but its very much theconsole version. No it does not look the same

Yeah there’s not loads, but outside of tutorials it’s pretty much the same under the hood.

You can add 'media description' in customise view then just scroll down to the Wonderkids.

That’s in the video- though it’ll only find those currently listed as wonderkid, which is normally too late, and not potential wonderkids.

Do you always have to wait for a player to turn 18 before you can sign them? Whenever I've tried to sign a player any younger. They refuse and say it's not good for there career even though I'm at Ajax. Kind of annoying having to wait.

It really depends. They are less likely to move and there are some FIFA + league restrictions too (no international trasnfers for under 18s for example).

Better method - just go to the top nations teams, look at all their young players with some value and scout those, you’ll get so many top players cheap

Better method: go to top 15 nations, scout young players in their u21,19 squads. Filled with gems

Could be lots of reasons; 1.What’s your scouting network size 2. Make sure you don’t have another filter on 3. Uncheck the transfer interest box

You won’t find many wonderkids at those prices but you can find some great players still. Check around the end of the Brazilian/South American seasons (End of Dec)

Yes you can. Just plug the Bluetooth dongle into your PS5 (or run an extension cable if you are a distance away from the PS5 and plug it into that).

Not really. It’s part of the game. In real life they use software to search hundreds of metrics. They also have lots of tools we don’t have in game (like watching players) There are some people don’t like using it but it’s not cheating.

Hi, is it possible to hvide the attributes? I want to scout my new players, I dont want to see all their rating (1-20) as the first thing

If you want to hide until you scout it’s an option when setting up. If you want to hide completely forever you should be able to do it by changing the attribute text colour to clear (I don’t know if this works on console but should)

I was just watching this (i know this is late) but i the players are on eg aidan jones but i cant find them in my save (im on ps5) it says no results find

Likely depends what nations and leagues you have loaded. It won’t load every player into your game- there’s like 500,000 and it would be painfully slow

Is it possible to sign the current African team players, I play with FC Nordsjaelland and they are affiliated with a Ghanaian club to recruit there except that I think it is impossible to do on console

You’d need to set up the database to include those players and it might not be worth it if you have to exclude other nations

@@zinho3430 free kicks? It’s pretty much the same now. You don’t have much option. Training there are less options but I just leave them to staff. Can’t really go wrong unless there’s something specific you want to work on

The columns? You can add extra ones to your view as I do in the video but bear in mind I’m on a large screen and using the pc skin so I can squeeze more on screen at once. If you are adding them on console but not seeing them you need to scroll across or remove some columns
