On point! When I finished my Masters in Germany, I applied to some companies here. There were a couple who replied: Company: We’re interested in you, let’s set up an interview. Me: Awesome! I’m available next week at 18:00 pm for an interview. Company: That’s good to hear. Do you have a work permit already in Switzerland? Or are you an EU citizen? Me: Unfortunately not. Company: Sorry, we cannot accept your application. 😂😂

Quit, and then worked at a market research firm for 8 years as an interviewer, project manager, account manager and then editor. Went back to school and got a degree in Psychology. Worked on my masters in guidance and counselling for a year. Covid happened and the recent supertyphoon in December happened so the masters was put in the back burner. By February, I started a German language course, got A1 level certificate by July and now I’m currently working on my B1 level… Do you think I’d have any chances at getting a job there? The way I understand it, is that you actually don't need accident coverage on your insurance, as accident coverage is already covered by your pillar 2 / your employer. accident coverage as add-on to your health insurance is meant for self-employed / unemployed people. Is this correct?

Hello there. If you go and live here, I suggest you find a job here before that. Application process here is very long.. it’ll take months before you get a job and you have to be prepared before moving and you can’t really expect to be able to work here as a bank teller. The banking system here is not only different from Philippines but also your language skills is an aspect that they consider. People here speak minimum 3 languages like German (national language here), French (national language here) and English.

Hello! May I ask if how much is the required amount of my bank account in order for me to apply for a working visa in Switzerland?
@LykaKrystle
@LykaKrystle 3 года назад
For applying for the work visa, they don’t really ask about your bank statements. The money is just for relocating here. Like for example, for renting an apartment..you need at least 3 months of deposit. So if your rent is 1,500CHF. You need 6,000CHF just for rent.
