I'm so indescribably grateful to have found your channel. As a lifelong "head-voicer", chest voice is baffling and intimidating, but you break it down in such an accessible and gentle way. Some voice teachers have all the technical knowledge but have trouble marrying that with the psychological aspects that are unavoidable in singing. You truly shine in synthesizing the technical with the emotional & psychological. I'm a bit teary just expressing my thankfulness because of the emotions that are released with getting to know my chest voice. Thank you so much.

Request topic. I need to be able to know how to project my voice without adjusting the notes. When I try to project my voice it will frequently through the notes just slightly out of wherever they were.

I’ve watched your videos on building and power and I’m still very much struggling to be heard amongst my group, especially when the recordings are run through RU-vid or Facebook and compressed to the point that my voice literally disappears. I NEED To be able to be heard on the videos so that I can hear what adjustments I need to make because I’m not capable of doing that live during the performance.

Love your lessons so much! Staying focused with the fundamental steps with adequate patience is a bit challenging for an impulsive ADHD brain. But I am glad that I sat through two of these live lesson vids. I do have a question: is it normal to feel a little bit sore in the throat after warm-up practice like this? I know I'm rather sensitive to discomfort and tension, and I easily would feel something similar if I've been babbling with friends for a while. Is there any exercises or techniques to help avoid this kind of sore or even worse things like raspy fatigued voices that could be beneficial for both maintaining and strengthening the voice? Plus, I've got quite a wide range (approx. Bb1 - E/F6), so do I need more time to warm up and is there some recommended order of registers? Sometimes I could feel that a bit of vocal fatigue would compromise the extremities or a few notes in the middle of the range. Again, thank you so very much for your videos!
