This video is going to give you the step by step guide to finding your first wholesale suppliers for Amazon FBA. Before you go searching for your first wholesale suppliers it's important that you set up a legitimate business. This is because legitimate wholesalers will only work with legitimate resellers. So you'll need your business license and resale certificate.
So, how we do find our first wholesale suppliers for Amazon FBA? Well, how do we find anything these days? Google! The important thing when searching Google is to understand that the quality of your search terms is going to change the quality of your search results.
If we search for something broad like "wholesale" we aren't going to find much of anything useful. So we should narrow down our search by looking for a supplier of a specific product like "nerf wholesale". Doing this gives you some potential results that you can go through and verify if they're worth working with.
That may seem like a pretty easy way to start finding suppliers and maybe it is a little too easy? What I mean by this is that the wholesale suppliers on the front page of the search results will most likely have a ton of Amazon sellers as customers. This leads you back to the issue I mentioned in last weeks video which is too much competition on a listing. If the suppliers you find have thousands of units in stock and dozens of customer who sell on Amazon, then a product can easily become too saturated. The best way to avoid this is to keep an eye on stock levels.
To find potentially better suppliers I recommend going past the first pages of search results and go through a bunch of different supplier to see what works best for your business. Also, you might find better supplier if you stop looking for distributors of name brand products and instead try and find smaller brands to work with.
